I believe that Michael Badnarik (Libertarian) would have been the best president our country has ever had. He has inspired me beyond that of even the legendary Harry Browne.
In the coming election I intend to vote for Ron Paul, and where as he is no Badnarik, his message is still very important on the REAL issues.
Support him anyway.. even if you don't think he will win.. or even if you intend on voting for a democrat.
The reason why is the message.. it is very important and more people need to hear it.
I believe it no longer matters who the president is.. we have an option of voting for the facists or we can vote for the socialists BOTH are bad for liberty both are an afront to what this nation should be. If you believe this to be the land of the free with a government the people actually control.. then you need to get behind Paul.. otherise it will slip away and we will continue to make lesiglation and debt for whatever the problem of the day happens to be until we find ourselves in a very expencive and very restrivtive country.

Wow is playable on the default Fedora Core 6 RPMs with AMD64 & ATI hardware and OpenGL mode out of the box. Installs fine (if a port is opened for updates)
Text and graphics look good in 12x10 resolution, (minimap also works) but it is somewhat slower in gameplay than in windows. One notble problem is you can't change the video settings in Linux so I had to generate a config of the settings I wanted in windows and copy them over.. however once I finished that it was ok. One odd thing is certan aspects like load screens are much faster in Linux than Windows only the graphics demand seems to affect the preformance.
I've logged many many hours so the slowdown is not annoying enough to make me want to boot over to windows.
This is because where at one point they were the same code base.. Wine has been attempting to provide a full implementation of windows. Cedega on the other hand has just been hacking and older alpha version of Wine so that it works with certain popular games.
If you follow this to the logical end.. eventually Wine will have a full implementation of windows on unix where new games (and anything else) will run.. and Cedega will have a bunch of hacks requiring constant tweaking for newer games.
BeOS was a really good OS for its time, its a shame that its never gotten much of a chance. Imagine tho if OS X was actually BeOS.. it could have been..

If your looking for a solution you need to attack the problem, the problem is the insecurities in IPv4 itself. What you need is IPsec or IPv6. (However.. ICMPv6 has issues now too. http://www.thc.org/thc-ipv6/README )
It would be much better to implement a fix for this type of attack in the network level and not the application level.
Again I think this is more of a political issue and less of a security issue. I don't like the government holding the key to our DNS servers. In fact I think the ISP's are the ones that should implement their own standards based system and hold these keys as it will *hopefully* introduce some form of free market element to this problem. The idea is that any ISP that would abuse this power would loose their customer base. I just trust them a shy bit more than the Fed's..

You can do MitM on ssl, ssh, tls, etc..
When your target requests a cert.. you then request your own cert from the host they are requesting to connect to and start a ssl connection. Then you create a self signed cert with the values of the site they are going to, and pass that back to the target. When you do this sometimes the application will warn the client (Firefox does, IE6 does not) It also gives the user a yes or no choice.. It doesn't need to work every time on every service to be dangerous. Will this work on DNSSec? I don't know..
but..
You can actually chain up a target in a way that does not use the DNS provided. I believe if you get there connection flowing through you, you can setup a transparent proxy for port 80 requests then it doesn't matter what IP the DNS server replies to the target because the connection itself will use DNS settings of the proxy. So you set the proxy's host file for e-bay.com to the IP of yourfakeebay.com and there you go, all the "security" of DNSSec is gone.
The Department of Fatherland Security just wants control of our countries DNS servers.. this should bother everyone.
