I've never listened to internet radio for more than 20-30 seconds at a time. Much like normally broadcast radio, I just never find anything that interests me long enough to stay on. Or if I do, it simply prompts me to listen to a song from my library. But, this is just further proof that most members of congress are out of touch with their country, the world, and reality as a whole. I support the radio shutdown, as I do any other protest.
But, I have a question for those who know law better than I: Is it really legal to charge royalties retroactively? It seems akin to me purchasing a CD, and a month later finding it no longer plays, because the price has gone up for buying it new.
But on another level, microsoft should be kept in check. Why should their patent violations go unnoticed, when they're such patent-hounds. I don't mind following the rules, as long as you have to as well:)
Now I have to wonder; it says it's not available for purchase to businesses (more of a lease-based program,) but will it be purchasable by professional printers?
It was really interesting, in that he has no idea what he's trying to say.

On M$'s end, they're a business. If you don't give them money, why do you think they should be giving you free updates? You're not a customer, you're not going to be a customer, so it's only ever so slightly in their interest to keep you on the platform. Do you realistically think the third party software is going to disappear just because windows doesn't provide updates to people who don't pay?
On the pirate's end, who cares? When was the last update that was worth downloading?
Are we also installing breathalyzers in cars? I mean, It wouldn't bug me much, blow on a little tube; car starts. And if you get a DUI anyway, because your idiot sober friend tricked it, then you can both go to jail!
DEAR LORD!!! Apple is trying to prevent users from purchasing music from the ITMS, then illegally sharing them? Those money-grubbing bastards! They said they'd be fine being an accomplice for me! Damn you Steve Jobs!!
How *is* AOL not an accessory in this case? If I buy some crack, but it's not me; it's for a friend, i'm still guilty.
Also is she really taking it to court? How many legal battles has the RIAA won in court again?
Many US schools don't require any math programs at all. I, myself, took Symbolic Logic in place of a calculus course.
It's not terribly hard to get a wire-tap warrant in the first place. Since the idea is to gather evidence, you really only need potential evidence.
This is worth at least 57 "lols."
And nearly a quarter of those are legitimate coppies!

But unless it breaks once a year, HP will make more money the other way.
Forgetting all about real violence on the news. But hey! Killing people in a game is evil. Killing people in real life is war.
I hate it when I'm jerking off and someone wants to skype with me! It totally ruins the...
Wait, seriously? Another stunningly informative article brought to you by zonk.
It just seems odd to me to leave programs running for another user anyway. Then again, I rarely use multiple accounts even on shared computers.
