They should focus in memory in all aspects, for example: MEMORY MANAGEMENT.
Windows Media Player 7 used less memory and had less leaks than Failfox has. I have to close the crap down every hour or so because it goes from 30%~ RAM to 90%~ (YES i'm serious)
Its terrible! And this is WITH and WITHOUT extensions and on other computers. Hell even different operating systems!
If they don't improve it by 3, they can go to hell for all i care, i'm done with their excuses.
I'm actually making an HTML/JS/CSS etc Sandbox that i can hook onto a website so i can play around with things.
Still needs alot of testing though, and sadly i don't have alot of free-time just now.
Just when i managed to get the iframing to work!
Wow thats quite shocking that the magazine never knew about that... Then again, it wasn't exactly big news, but if i knew and i barely follow it..mmmyeh.:|
You should then ask those same people about using condoms and masturbation as well.
Oh the hypocrisy you will see when you ask them that!
Some people just need shot...srsly.
Crap what was i thinking..i'm losing it!
Hell i was even thinking of energy as particles from what i remember... oh god never/. on a sore head!
As for waste that can't be converted to anything useful, would that matter much anyway since you are literally converting the particles to energy, then back into particles? You could pretty much make any element in the end, as long as you had enough energy.
I think the best we could do just now (or any foreseeable future) would be closer to a re-sequencer than a "replicator" to be honest. (unless that teleporter research brings anything useful before we have re-sequencing devices in commercial use...unlikely sadly)
And even then, it just wouldn't be the same, not eating that is.
I couldn't see myself never eating a lovely flame-grilled burger again!
Not exactly decades, but a damn long time still.
Remember, most of that food is converted to energy in cells.
Thats why you don't see people (regular people) frying some shit and drinking some wee with the friends.
Improving how cells are killed and "recycled" by neighbours would be money better spent IMO, well there is cancer research kinda already doing that.
But i like your thinking still, you're the kind of people i like.
I have to agree with you here
GoogleOS is already here in functionality, just not officially.
With Personalised Homepage, i have pretty much every Google service i use linked on it.
We have Docs & Spreadsheets, calenders, e-mail, chat, maps, image manipulation (to an extent).
And this is only the beginning (and this is not my words either, Google Blogs words, the official one)
The next year for Google will be getting more stuff out of beta (gmail for sure) and start to unify more of the interfaces.
Some people seem against "WebOSes", i don't think they are that bad.
Also, what if you are on a computer that doesn't have all these networking tools you need, pretty much every single OS from the past 5-10 years has a web browser.
And say you didn't have permissions to tweak networking settings either, another good reason.
Heyyy, don't do that now, it only enforces your laziness!
I'd go down, but i am too lazy to go down (or up, where, who? )
I think i'd do pretty well especially with meditating and using Brainwave Generator (YES, it does work actually! Worked for me, helped me have lucid dreams pretty much at will..when relaxing that is)
I can't wait to see the kind of games they will try to make from using things like this.
To have VR games would be like a dream!
Until then, i only have lucid dreams...hey wait, thats better than games will ever be!
Time to play some playboy mansion in my sleep! Beat that games company of the future!;)
...just like it does with every page with Google Ads, and automatic script would search.
I honestly can't believe idiots thought that it could mean people could search YOUR e-mails..
"hay guys, come use our e-mail, its secure, but if someone wanted to, they can search your e-mails, thats how good our search is, it can find things that people don't want it to find!"
Brilliant motto right thar.
This Anon has it nailed already.
The whole medical world screws us over because curing is bad for their business.
Someone creates a cure and they are probably frowned upon.
Or in another twisted up scenario, they already have cures for most diseases...and just release them at certain times when they can predict what will happen when its released.
T'is a horrible fucked up world we live in... driven by greed, regardless of what it is.
Thats exactly what i was thinking...at 2.37AM...while "doing" my college report to be handed-in in..ohh, about 7ish hours.
The driver support and games are pretty much the only reason i even use Windows.
I can get all (or better) programs that i use for Windows on Linux and quite a few i use regularly actually run better on Linux as well. (Blender for a good example)
I can see Windows being in trouble within the next 5-10 years as Mac support grows (it will eventually) since Apples move to x86.
As much as Microsoft continue to say it, regardless of the fact that Vista might be a gamers dream.. it certainly doesn't have me or several PC gamers i know going "nucking futs" for it.
Eh, who knows what'll happen.
Back to my report on computing legalities, woo!
You never know what they will do.
This is only a start, they will probably go onto that sometime in the future once they have solved the mess NASA has for them.
Heres hoping!
One big reason as to why the "logging on to Live and seeing user-created content" won't happen is all down to one simple reason:
it will take away from actual game developers.
Thats why its solely tied in with the Creator Club thing, they don't want something like this to be BIG big, but big enough to inspire software developers/indie games developers into full-time game development.
I mean look at Geometry Wars, that was (and still is) a very popular game, i remember even seeing on a forum that someone would get it simply to play that (no lies! honestly said that after he played it on his friends)
I'm honestly not sure where Microsoft are going, they have been making too many contradictions that my mind has gave up following them.
First 1080p doesn't matter, "hay guys, look what we can do!", then bringing down Sonys attempts at running Linux for user-created content, now they are doing it.
ARGH! MY HEAD!
I happen to be using FF just now, IE works fine for me.
Never have i seen a browser crash as much as FF. Hell even programs in general!

Opera had it before Firefox did. Well at least i'm sure they did.

Sounds like some film based on ancient Egypt and "the gods".

E3 IS OVER! ;_;
Well screw you then, you can keep your old web 1.0!
I will be happy using my intarweb 2.0 with the changing and the speed and the AJAX!
You are actually questioning Googles ability to manage 10,000+ "units"?
Pffft, you crazy foo'! Its Google, thats like counting change to them!

Yeh, kinda like that awesome Doom movie, eh?
Why can't they make sarcasm tags... it would be better than that NSFW crap!
SARS anyone?

oh crap i didn't think this ignored spacing, i guess it DOES require using BR tags.

Hey Vegeta, what does the scouter say about his power level?
