Once you get the robot weighing in on a conflict between the 1st and 3rd laws and you're the subject in questions, well, I just wouldn't want to be in that kind of a dilemma.
Pal, you live in Huntsville, not Alabama.
Kidding. I live in Trussville. I have a lot of respect for Huntsville - it's a beautiful city. Downtown is very clean and there is literally NOTHING like the Space and Rocket Center.
I'm replying to the host of comments saying that the fear is healthy and keeps them alive. C'mon, have you seen the movie Mouse Hunt? That mouse feared nothing and he beat the living stuff out of those two guys and anyone else who entered the house. Without fear, you can assess the situation, tie the audio/visual cable to the winch, push the button and watch the bug man fly, without having your "flee" instincts take over.
We just need to make sure we don't create a new species that tries to take over the world.
"Because I said so...
How about this, you and your brother take a bath without arguing with me tonight? Sound good?"
How can kids manage to perform the exact same behavior as millions of other kids around the world, even though they've never seen it modeled anywhere?
"No, you can't watch Power Rangers for the 5th time today. You've had enough time to pick out a toy now GET UPSTAIRS."
Seriously, though. I love my boys.
"What have YOU done for OSS? You OSS zealots (particularly twitter) are doing more harm than good."
I'll have you know that I have PERSONALLY downloaded over five, ahem, FIVE different Linux distributions and tested them on my old laptop at home.
SO THERE.
Ha.
(Caution, following is totally off topic)
This reminds me of that totally awesome game called "Zork 0" I used to play on the Commodore 64.
Anyone remember that?
Today Newegg has an Acer laptop, loaded with 512mb of RAM, and loaded with Vista.
Soooooo, judging from folks here with credible-sounding opinions and your screen shot, the person who buys this laptop will be screwed, right out of the box. Correct?
If so, MAN that would tick me off...
Remember that before the winner is chosen, every contestant is in the same boat. They're aware that they might lose. They knew this before they entered the contest. Hopefully, especially with big projects that cost a lot of money, they take this risk into account when they decide to enter the contest.
Businesses who bid for projects must to evaluate this risk and deal with it to be successful. The company I work at bids for government (US Military) projects occasionally. Sometimes we don't get the project. It's part of the risk of doing business. The reason why it's an effective model is that individual companies can choose to take on the risk. It's the best way to allocate resources.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FREAKIN' KIDDING ME.
My opinion:
Urban sprawl doesn't make you fatter, you make yourself fatter. Fat cells will congregate on certain bodies, no matter what the environment. By the same token, muscle cells will congregate on others' bodies regardless of the environment, as well. In other words - it's your attitude toward fitness and health that's important. If you're fat, it's the fault of no one else but your own.(Granted, being slim is easier for some than others). End of Story. Thanks for playing.
The restaurant atop the Space Needle in Seattle rotates 360 deg, but the building stays in place. Granted, this wouldn't require near the utilities as a bldg full of apartments. Now they've dreamed the dream, I'd love to see how it will actually work.
No, don't tell me about that "Dread Zepplin" group. Led Zepplin is one of a kind. I should spank you for blasphemy.
Whatever. Just as long as we don't have to pay taxes to all y'all.
My paycheck appears quite nice too, as it is passed from my employer on the my wife and three kids.
Tinyme, a lite version of PCLinuxOS, has Opera pre-installed.

They're ENCRYPTED?!?!? DAMNIT!!!! So, is there any way to "decrypt" the movie, then maybe "shrink" it? Any ideas? (drip, drip)
