Sega also did the Super Monkey Ball games on GC (as well as one for GBA I believe), which I thought were much more competive and enjoyable than the SSB series.
I always preferred Ridge Racer's arcade feel to GT's simulation style gameplay. Namco's car designs always ranged from sleek to the way fantastic (The "Bat-mobile" from Rage Racer comes to mind). Power sliding around a corner, sometimes into an intentional 360 was just too much fun. And yes, there always were the girls, but it was never done shamelessly, like Dead Or Alive. I really doubt Namco's going to have GT-killer on their hands, the name is too entrenched, too branded as the definitive simulator/gearhead/racer kiddie game. Oh well, there's always Ace Combat 05: Aces...
I sure hope someone wouldn't send in a resume for a VB job if they had never heard of it or had no experience in it. That would be common since I'd think.
I kind of agree and I kind of don't. I don't believe anything like Dragonball, Gundam, or even Macross could ever be regarded highly enough to be an award winner. If anyone can do it, I'd say Miyazaki could. Mamoru Oshi maybe...but I can't stand his stuff. Too long and drawn out and convoluted.
I believe Andy Serkis was also the motion capture actor for Gollum (if you watch the making of specials on the first DVD you can see him wearing the mocap suit and interacting with the other actors), so he's not just voice acting. He was the underlying actor that the CG was rigged to follow.
Metal Gear Solid 2 used CVS on a Linux system. I wouldn't call that small. Check out the PS2 DVD "The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2" for more interesting info on the development of the game, it's got some pretty sweet info.
I got into CC quite often to look at games and cd's. They often have cd's I want, which aren't typically found in the price gauging places like Sam Goody for around $12.99 or so. And I've picked up quite a few Playstation and Dreamcast games there for $10-$20 when they weren't even that old. Never had a problem with sales people either...I typically walk in, get what I want, and leave quickly.
Hmm, I don't know. I don't see any reason why there would need to be a Cowboy Bebop live action movie. The anime and the movie do a great job of conveying story, character development, and filmmaking/animation. I don't see a live action version adding anything that would make it worthwhile. Now, if Columbia wants to release the movie widely into theaters, great, it's a good movie (I wish it had more character development in it, that's what I loved most about the series), but the anime offers a rather dreamlike, escapist world (a recurring theme in the show and movie) that a live action film would ruin.
Oh, and next time, please add a spoiler warning if you're going to give away the end. =)
are all g4 motherboards dual processor by default? Meaning, can I buy a single 800 processor, then add another 800 processor, or does the m/b only have slots for the one?
Finally, some people who can appreciate stupid humor. Steve Odekerk is really lucky, he's getting paid to go out and have FUN and (hopefully) make money at what he loves doing: making stupid jokes. And for the rest of you people that actually APPRECIATE this movie, go check out his THUMB WARS and other Thumb Cinema features.
Um...did you mean that the PS2 or the XBox has no SDK? As far as I know...they both do. Regardless of how difficult the PS2 is supposedly hard to program for, there's still an SDK for it.
Upon his retirement Goldin will release documents onto the Internet concerning NASA's use of reverse engineered alien technology taken from alien spacecraft.
...And will be arrested by the FBI pending an investigation as to whether or not this is a violation of the DMCA.
For example, if I'm out shooting video with a digital camcorder, can I dump the data onto this device through the usb connection? Though I suppose that's the whole purpose of using tape.
Great, this will just be the same old tenchi stories retold yet again it seems. If it's not another Tenchi, it's another El Hazard/Love Hina. Just saw an episode of "Dual" at Comic Con on Saturday. Can you say Tenchi meet Evangelion?
I'm really getting tired of the "guy gets swarmed by 4 or 5 annoying girls that he's just too nice to tell to get the heck away from him" genre of anime. Come on, it was ok at first, but like the "teen mech pilot" genre, it's been beaten to death.
Thankfully we have Sunrise, who seem to be the only innovative studio in the anime industry.
I thought the film was pretty well done. Yeah, the ending seemed a little stretched, but I never got shifty in my seat, or found myself looking for my watch. I'm not too familiar with Kubrick's work, so I can't compare it with his other stuff (though I thought Eyes Wide Shut was a huge joke played on the audience). Spielberg did his typical "light shining on dust particles through the trees" effect that he uses in like EVERY movie.
I think my favorite part of the movie (except the excellent set design and mechanical designs of the robots) was the teddy bear. The friend I saw the movie with put it best though, "it should have been voiced by Mr. T".
And here I was, hoping to read an unbiased review of the 2 os' (oses, osi?), from the beginnings of an installation to the point where all current patches and software are installed and you can call a system "ready". (ready for a non-geek user, for example)
Instead, Cnet gives us a childish debate that reads like two kids fighting over which one of their favorite toys are better. The Mac guy reads like a name dropper, and the Windows guy is no better. Bleh, I'll wait for the SharkyExtreme comparison, I think.

Er, almost as common as knowing how to spell 'sense'.

With the head falling out? Which version of the movie did you see?

And remember to stop off for some more pickeled weiners and a diet chocolate soda.
Is that....Ballmer's head? Well, that explains where all of his quotes came from...
note, he said how many people *skydrive* ever. I misread it at first myself. Original poster care to clarify this?

It's on the dresser, next to the keys! I've told you a million times!
Favorite. talk show. ever.
Oh come on, while not a great staple of the comedy genre, the Question/Answer session with the kids is freakin' hilarious.
I found it funny, and I'm not from Sydney. The sillyness of beaucracy (sp?) transcends borders, obviously.
AH Belo owns the Riverside Press-Enterprise. I did tech support for their ISP service for 3 years.

But can it store ANY type of file?
