    Presumably they're attracted by the prospect of doing business with the captive army of n00bs-that-will-buy-an-iphone-because-its-shiny that apple have under lock and key...

    against chrome 4.1.249.1064 (45376)'s 423.0ms +/- 2.8% (with only two other tabs open)

    Curious that Opera isn't compared within the speed tests but is within the market-share graph. Wonder why that would be...

    One story about surveillance mentioned that CPS and/or the schools were considering putting cameras within the homes of "children at risk", or some such nonsense. They were specifically considering kids living in their equivelant of "The Projects". Ghetto housing. They want to make sure the kid is home, and going to bed on time, and that he spent x number of hours doing homework. Good grief!

    As usual, the US is ahead of us here in the UK - A PA school already spies on its students via their laptops' webcams.

    Actually, that left-wing vs right-wing thing was misleading even before it became obsolete, way back in the '80's. But, it still has a catchy sound to it, and prevents people looking at the real issues.

    The only issue of merit is correctly locating everyone within the political spectrum.
