Shut the f**k up a**hole. Look at what you just posted. It is neither funny, insightful, interesting, or informative. All that was was a LAME ASS attempt at FIRST POST.
Just to let you know, personally I thought it was funny. And apparently some others did to. I agree it's not funny enough to warrant a karma point. But if it entertains a few, why not just leave it be, smile and go on your way? You're just a bitter little bitch. So what if you don't like it? That's why I opted NOT to use my +2 score for this post. Why risk karma on a so-so funny post? I wouldn't be hurt if all my karma disappeared, but I do enjoy moderating. Besides, you're just mad cause I got the second post and you didn't!
Until we have rednecks exploiting locusts as the new entertainment sport? Living in Mississippi (not that anything's wrong with that), I can assure you that if one locust can drive a car, then someone somewhere will find a way to have a locust destruction derby. And they'll sell beer while many men (intriguingly all named Bubba) watch and hoot and holler. And they'll have air horns as well. My god, what have I done.
It also holds together Steve Austin, the Six Million Dollar Man. Where would the entertainment industry be without the advent of the Bionic Man and his accompanying sound effects?
You too can live in time when men were men and sheep were scared.
Put together your own computer and watch that BASIC fly. For only 99.95, you can own a piece of history and have a truly 3l337 paperweight. "I built this wrong all by myself."
...there should be something that lets users view post submissions, and vote on them.
Personally, I think that new stories roll out slow enough. It's compounded by the fact that they post articles that are old or redundant, but to add a voting scheme for submissions based on/. readers? You might as well run/. on a 486 NT box. It'd be just as slow (but it'd crash more often).
Although I am probably among the younger in the Slashdot crowd (pushing 21), I can find plenty of adult Atari games. Classics such as (I'm not making this up) Beat 'Em and Eat 'Em and Get the Girl were readily available for Atari. Hell, iif you download Stella, an Atari 2600 Emulator, you can even play these games if you take the time to find them. Vivid's not making any headway. And they can cite these older Atari games as prior act.
Today was the announcement of the encryption toilet, SecureJohn (SJohn). When flushed, it scrambled it's contents as to render them useless to prying eyes. Microsoft has chosen to implement it's own version in it's latest OS with stand alone versions available for purchase. While MS John will not be full compatible with SJohn, open source proponents are rumored to be working on OpenJohn for the various flavours of Unix.
Back to you CmdrTaco.
I still have my 7800 and it's just as portable. Comes with the lustrous duffel bag outboard paneling. And it also has 28 cartridges (27 if you don't count the mandatory second copy of Combat).
...it transforms the MacOS into some sort of superOS.
So adding Unix-like capabilities to MacOS makes it a superhero's OS? Cool! It's like Zan and Jan, the Wonder Twins. Seperated, they suck ass. But together, they can rock da haus.
P.S. I am in no way, shape, or form saying Unix or MacOS suck ass, just noting that together they rockda haus.
If you don't like the privacy concerns of some sites (Tesco for example), then don't use them. Get off your lazy ass and walk to get your catfood like most normal people or use the services available online. Bitching about it won't keep your cats from starving.
Encoding at under 20x? try to find the GoGo encoder webpage. Assuming you have a faster processor (I have an Athlon 700 running WinNT and I can encode at 30x), you should be able to encode quickly and nicely. The Win32 counterpart encodes at 160Kbps and pretty much rocks da haus compared to all my other encoders.
Later that day, RMS was seen communicating with the mainframe leader of Cyberdyne, creators of SkyNet. He was trying to convince SkyNet to GPL the code that runs at the hearts of all T-100 Terminator models. It's rumored that SkyNet is holding onto it's closed source ways due to a belief that the human resistance would be able to find security exploits that would allow them control of improperly secured Terminators.
That's what woman is for...
But with OS being an acronym, it's safe to say "OS's" with the term "operating system's" being correct. Sorry to give you the sytactical smackdown.

Windows kills the memory, Linux nurses it back to working health....
Data only? 100 Mbps? Sounds like I'll have to start using DialPad.
Now I can finally have the possibility of watching The Matrix on my BlueTooth device.
HALLELUJAH!
Now we (meaning !(Tommy Lee)) can all finally find out what Pamela Anderson Lee's breasts feel like!
Then Microsoft stepped in....

I shudder to think...

Didn't we just get a submission dealing with what's in Red Hat 7.0? I guess it's so nice they're covering it twice.
