They should take a lesson from Topps and include a stick of gum. It's much more useful than a Sony MemoryStick.

Forcing a bull to copulate with a cow violates both their human rights if it violates their sexual preferences.
Whoa, whoa,whoa, whoa....
Back the truck up sparky. Since when have animals ever enjoyed the luxury of human rights?
Noah's ark was to save a sample of each species so that they might replenish the earth. If i remember my high school biology correctly, a bull dry humping another bull ain't gonna make any calves anytime soon.
One could argue that by saving a male and female of each species (regardless of sexual preference) and having them mate, they would ensure the existence of their brood (who would have whatever sexual orientation they came equipped with.)
The judge only refused to release the identities of the people because they were not accused of anything criminal by the company, just a suspicion of "innuendo" to drive down stock prices. Posting copyrighted Scientology texts IS illegal under current copyright and trade secret laws.
I'm from South Mississippi. I'd like to think I'm one of the brighter ones (I can count to twenty without taking my shoes off.)
In my hometownof Biloxi, there are two options for broadband. The cable company offers service (560kb downstream / 128kb upstream @ $50/month) and BellSouth just recently rolled out it's own choppy DSL (1.5 Mbit downstream / 128 kbit upstream @ $50/month). While neither have absolutely outstanding upstream rates, the DSL does provide the downstream rate as advertised. I've never used the cable, but I have friends who say it has brief outages. The DSL disconnects randomly. Suffice to say, it's mediocre down here in the Land of Cotton.
Finally, bad spellers and the grammatically incorrect are protected by law. No longer need they fear being mocked and ridiculed forever in a never-ending flood of forwarded e-mails they have destroyed so eloquently. I applaud Australia for taking a stand for the dignity of the CmdrTacos of the world.
No, instead of 1 bit (2 states) you store 3 bits (8 states). So that gives you three times as many bits, hence three times the capacity. But to encode 3 bits, you have to be able to produce (and later read) 8 gray levels.
In order to acheive 8x, you'd have to implement all 256 shades of gray the Windows Paintbrush allows you.
Mp3 ripping speed is determined by the CD-ROM drive and interface more so than the processor speed and network bandwidth. Hell, I had a 32x cd-rom that ripped at 20x on my pII-266.
I've a friend working for a Linux company that's preparing a distro based on Debian. Many of you might know of it, Progeny Linux. My friend tells me this will be a full GUI distro, with GNOME interfaces for practically everything (installer included). It's gotten my attention.
ps. For the record, I run WinNT/Win9x dual booting. So far, I've no need to switch operating systems.
They're just questioning the usefulness of a processor that adjusts it's speed. "Is the decrease in speed worth the battery life?" It's the same mindless drivel as usual. If you can run [insert office app here] for that much longer when you need it, should the speed make a difference? I doubt the speed will drop to a rate where you type faster than the screen refresh can keep up. Just a thought...
Pleae don't call me Jesus Christ, it's not my name.
And to reply, yes this was a mistake. No, I did not fully process the comment. My bad.

I'm tired of using my common sense now.

Just when you thought the command line would finally just die.... Slackware comes back.
We can search google using Swedish chef talk. Yet no one can parse the CmdrTaco speak mentioning all these quickies.

The people who got in left a small notice with bad grammar... something about bases belonging to "us."
I hope the pr0n industry doesn't bust my patent on JavaScript opening up more and more windows as you try to leave a site..

There goes one more things for the Slashcrowd to complain about....

I already have it patented.
If only there could be a commentary audio track to hear the words behind the show from the man himself.
I guess we'll have to settle for some lame impersonation of some guy going "billions and billions" over and over again for the length of the series.
I bow before you.
I love my Netdoor account and have had no problems what so ever with the service.

I think being able to put a story on Slashdot's frontpage impairs memory as well....
but Taco didn't see it, Hemos did.
Think how nice it is to be able to amuse yourself with the same stories over and over again from only days previous, much less months ago....
Wasn't DTD banned in 1972 for causing Bad ThingsTM?

And yes, I typo'd in the subject.
