A recent TV investigation (I think it was BBC's Rogue Traders) featured people getting ripped off with poor quality fakes of premium brand headphones, including Beats, IIRC.
Wonder if some of the complainants here have been similarly caught out.
DJB wrote qmail, daemontools, etc, to be simple and robust, in line with the Unix philosophy of having lots of little tools, each doing one thing well.
He also put his money where his mouth was, offering bug bounties.
If there's a correlation between his software and systemd, it may be in that it upset an established way of doing things.
It is relatively simple, if you have the small amount like 1 quilobyte, that the octet is with 1024, but to measure to him is to the end of the multiplied difference, so of such way possibly the hour for a modification.
What about the right to Freedom of Assembly, included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the European Convention of Human Rights amongst others. Are there no lawyers willing to take on this kind of nonsense.
Coke and Pepsi are little more than caramel-coloured fizzy sugar water. And that's in the UK. I dread to think what that HFCS stuff tastes like. For a decent cola, try the Barr's version of this. And then there's this, our other national drink. A much nicer way to rot your teeth.
Ah, but given the current rail works, a bus may well be a train and vice-versa. Anyway, Humphrey's odd-man rule only applies if you use the secondary route via Wardour Street.
The splitting off of the postal service from telecommunications saw one side decline into a loss-making enterprise (post) and the other become a cash cow (telecoms). It's a bit ironic that this year the Royal Mail announced its first profit in years whilst BT posted losses.
While it may not have been the easiest thing in the world to set up, I had an INN server running for 3-4 years, off my home dialup connection, using suck IIRC, to batch download the articles in the 10-15 groups I wanted to read.
It wouldn't surprise if 90% of web sites are just aggregators. I'd be more than happy if they withered and died. Here's a tip - if you don't have [your own] content you don't have a website.
I'm all for the Web - it gives people the freedom to publish their own damn nonsense, I just can't stand the amount of duplication you need to search through these days to find anything, be it news, software or tasteful pictures of Reese Witherspoon's chin (she could always double up as a snow plough if times get tough in the acting business).

Yeah, because you can produce a world-class operating system and still be a decent person at the same time. (BTW, I'm not being sarcastic.)
Nice to see you here, Gunnery Sergeant.
Actually, much of the earlier releases included the marvellous sunsite archives, long gone now. Sniff :-(
It's fun to calculate your own modelines.
We didn't have electronic deletion, let alone memory holes. We had to burn our books with flint and tinder.

You cannot argue with a fact.
Try telling that to the Creationists.
Decreasing something by 0.5 is equivalent to multiplying it by 2.
