1. Phone companies don't have the resources to listen in on every call. 2. I thought the whole point of the article is that Google IS listening in on your browsing.
I'm not following you. Why can't they reach the info on your PC that is put there by their program? Your computer is free storage for them. It may not be reachable for most of the time but Chrome will tell them when it is available.
That's strange. I lived in Wichita Falls where they have training aircraft capable of supersonic speeds and the only time I ever heard a sonic boom was when I was young enough to think the big tree in the front yard had fallen over. I think you are lying or being less than sincere. I don't understand why you would say such things when they are clearly false.
Clearly you DNRTFA. It clearly states "this includes the 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Vista, as well as modified versions of Linux, but it doesn’t include Windows XP." So not even 32-bit Windows 7 is supported.
Or they sell it to people that don't won't to worry about outstandng graphics right now. I bought an i3-530 and I'm going to get a graphics card later because my needs are currently met.
Here's why it doesn't matter: no one buys anything based on the type of display they have. You don't choose a blu-ray player for a plasma because it has dark menus. You don't choose horror movies over action movies because horror movies have darker scenes. That is unreasonable. You will choose players and content based on your personal preferences regardless of the display type, therefore it can assumed the only difference will be the display type, as I said before.
My point is that if you were going to hook up something to a plasma, you were going to hook that same thing up to an LCD so the only difference is the display. You can't honestly say an LCD is less efficient because you'll hook up something that uses more power than if you had chosen a plasma display instead.
You are supposed to laugh because the information lost is the feature they are trying to advertise. It is like advertising color TVs on black and white TVs.
That would probably make the tv really expensive. Not only would it have two panels, it would need much brighter lights so the highlights are still bright. Then again, the extra lighting power would overcome the additional panel, rendering the exercise pointless and wasteful.
They may not be topless but it is quite apparent you've never been intimate with a girl in a small bikini. It is very easy to leave the top on and still see naughty bits.
I don't think you understood that right. I used to work in the retail electricity industry. Take a look at your electric bill an you'll see similar numbers. They might be as high as 3000kW/h or as low as 500kW/h.
My apartment is backwards. The AC runs almost constantly in the summer and the heater runs about 50% of the time. In the summer, my bill is consistently around 1350 kW/h but almost 1500kW/h in the winter. It seems my heater uses over twice as much electricity.
Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection is free for all Windows and Apple users and is the full version. You don't even have to install it on Windows, it already is installed(provided you have the right versions of Windows).
You're right, that is a bad analogy. Apple and AT&T have been upfront the entire time about the costs. When I got an iPhone, I knew exactly what I was getting.
Define "relatively modern". If hooked up to an HDTV, my 7-year-old laptop will do at least 720P perfectly fine.

Who looks in the settings menu? Don't most people just pick up what they bought and start using it without messing with any settings?
Nobody reads the manual, website, or legal menu. That reminds me of HHGTTG.

Behind would be 181.
Your talk of efficiency doesn't make sense at all. An LCD uses less electricity than a plasma. It doesn't matter what is hooked up to the display.

Just thinking out loud. Am I on the right track?

They may be wearing bikinis but they look like the kind that are easily worn "improperly".
if you look at the application open immediately behind the image, it's quite obviously an e-mail client.
Really? It was quite obviously a browser. Directly under the title bar is a big "Back" arrow and right above the image is a row of tabs.
Gmail and Outlook block images automatically. It isn't hard at all.
They are wearing bikinis as you say but they may not be wearing them "properly".
Thanks.
That's what he said, it just got rounded.
