I would laser-cut it on the silicon die if I could. VT actually brings nothing of value to the 99% of users, but it allows
for the worst breed of viruses to virtualize themselves. I've heard last week on a Microsoft conference here in Europe about the issues here and I can say its all bad news from the security standpoint.
Pardon me, IT IS A BIG DEAL. Top cinema productions like StarWars I, II were filmed using Sony CineAlta camera in 1920x1080, so this HD-DVD IS exactly what we want. True movie resolution for our money and not that downsampled and overpriced crap of DVD. You can buy a Full HD LCD-TV (1920x1080) at about $1000-$2000 so there is really no reason to wait.
Recent raids here in Europe proved that your "recordings" of any kind could harm you. Some guys here were tracked by police due to their over-usage of torrent networks, then their appartment raided. Everything you've ever recorded, that you do not have a hardcover or original CD/DVD from can backfire at you. Learned this I would be cautious even about iPod stored MP3s purchased over MP3.com or elsewhere, because there is virtually no proof to that MP3 was purchased and that is really yours. I actually welcome Microsoft's DRM management in hope it would give me a protection in such an event.
So you dared to report that OS X with over 2GB of ram is crashing with one of the most standard video cards on the market (GeForce series) directly to Apple crew? Don't do that, you can get sued or worse..
Is that they never really cooperated with the Asia hardware makers. And it seams that the hardware layer issues are the core of all the problems they have. Everyone who has some brains switched over to PC already where the latest GPU upgrade for example cost less, is way more powerful and at the end of the day is also more fun. That show the real smarts of Microsoft what even has that annual event for driver and hardware developers, just to cheer them up give a hug and make some money together..
After all folks, it is stunning 1920x1080 (2Mpix) video with one crazy bitrate and over 20GB of data. I thinks its finally worth buying one, especially when the quality and technology (finally) matches the price tag here.
1280x1024 (1.3 MPix)
1920x1200 (2.2 MPix)
2560x1600 (4 Mpix) 3840x2160 (8 MPix) => would be nice for our current 8Mpix Nikon photowork
See, from the photographer's point of view any current consumer LCD is inferior (safe to rare Mac/Dell 30" 2560x1600 displays), but this Westinghouse offering would be really nice.

Well, the name says it "Netflix". Reminds me of now famous quote of Bill Gates that Blu-ray and HD-DVD are the last of removable disk media formats.
