The only problem with Opera innovating is that, if an new idea works out, the other browsers will add it. The only alternative is if Opera can patent the ideas. Not something that would prove very popular 'round here.
I don't think that the cliché is that geeks never have an opportunity to mate. Copulating for recreation and copulating for reproduction are two different things, and adult geeks are good target for the latter.
They also fail to point out that these women have knowingly slept with married men who have families and then attempted to make money off it by going to the press. Must be nice to be able to make a good living out of lying on ones back.
Doc: Unbelievable, that his piece of junk could be such a big problem. No wonder this circuit failed... it says, "Made in Japan." Marty: What do you mean, Doc? All the best stuff is made in Japan. Doc: Unbelievable!
So, I'm not the only one. It looks poor, visually. The levels look like a step backwards too. Somehow they've managed to take a game with some limited outdoor stuff and yet turned it into a corridor shooter.
The deployable turret stuff and remote control vehicle looks good and will probably be taken up as a standard FPS game mechanic.
We'll have to see how much vehicle driving there is and how closely it's integrated into the main gameplay. Beyond that, it looks like id is going to do what it always does: release a slightly improved DooM/Quake. At least the other releases contained exciting new rendering tech that other dev teams could steal/licence. This looks like STALKER On Rails to me.
I didn't do very well academically, so there are a lot of things that I can't follow. For example, I can't understand how, if the majority of undergrads are female, why is there only affirmative action to help females? I mean, what with zero sum economics, surely the condition of female domination of a subject is more common than male? Even if there were an equal number of male and female students, it would be absolutely impossible for males to more often dominate a subject.
Then, I've always been a bit thick about things like this. I couldn't even work out how Obama earned his Nobel prize. Sure wish that I'd got a degree so that I could figure these things out.
One thing I liked about NS was that it was multi-threaded. This meant that it was still working while it was redrawing the page, a handy feature in the time of much slower computers and dial up internet. IE always seemed to be getting blocked.
We're talking about a stress-filled, claustrophobic situation in which there would be no possibility of sex for months at a time, if not years. And space travel too.

I take it they'll be against conscription? Oh right, that mainly affects men. Just ignore me, I'm being silly.
Ass-fangler.
Why not just go out and buy the content? Just print up money on your computer. You wouldn't be stealing anything or depriving anyone of anything.

If it has no value, why do people want it?

At least Germans join the words at full length when they make a compound one. Oh, how they must laugh at the feeble Americans.
How is this flamebait? Responding in thread as I haven't had any mod points for months.
I can't parse those sentences. Are you a script of some sort?
Amen to what you just said. Each to his own, but I've never found fake breasts to be attractive.
Yeah, her breasts are unusually unusually spherical.

It's pretty great.

Those teachers went a bit tough on you at times, but they'd be proud that you now have a great job as a lawyer for Microsoft.
I bet his pals didn't believe him when he got back from his holiday.
"What did you do then?"
"I visited my dad. He pulled me behind a helicopter while I water skied. What about you?"
"Same."

The flip side of ruthless competition is that it makes companies risk averse and unwilling to innovate.
And men were conscripted into the war as soldiers just because they were men. Your assessment is one sided.
They've fiddled with it so that it uses the same layout for files as Dolphin. Might as well use Dolphin.
"Married couples are probably the best bet"

Sounds like we're getting screwed on this Archimedes thing.
