Meeting new people, moving away from home, learning to make important decisions on your own are all things one experiences during college that are important.
What makes you think college is the only place you can learn these things?

What woman's going to program hers with "nagging b*tch who only wants men for their money"
i bet they load up those nice, non-polluting race cars on some huge diesel trucks and drive them all the way to Phoenix. Ya way to protect the enviornment!
Would they be happier if I just DL'd the max 15GB of pr0n every month, but ran no servers?
Actually, they probably would be happier. I'm sure that they designate tons of download bandwidth to you, and then restrict the upload so that they can use the bandwidth for other income (ie web/ftp hosting).
Compaq offers an "Insight managment board" which does kinda the same thing. It goes into compaq servers, and allows you to access your server via modem, even when the thing is off. Too bad it sets you back about $800
Thats just plain awesome. I dont think i've ever seen a more entertaining sport than breakin'. No party is complete without a little poppin' or breaking.
Um, you're brilliant theory just went down the toilet. MSN is listed as a victim, according to ZDnet (also a victim). Stop bothering us with your rediculous paranoia.
You know what sucks, in high school my PSAT scores qualified me to be elligible for something from the United Negro College fund...too bad they found out I was White, and made me drop out. Whats up with that?
thats funny, because i've run across several just like that, although 'restore from last's night backup' doesnt always work, because the virus slowly began corrupting the documents other data files on the server, so it was not noticed until weeks later. By then, the backup tapes had been overwritten.
There are a lot of virii that will only corrupt or erase a few files a day. You may not notice the problem until 1/2 of your data is missing, and your only good backups have been overwritten with corrupted data.
Heh i can see it now...the invincible Linux box hands out a virus to a Windows client, which then procedes to delete every file it has access to on the samba server. Sorry, but your non-root user privledges wont help your data here.
If you learned a lot by playing around with NT while getting your MCSE, let me suggest to you that you would have learned just as much by playing around with NT without the MCSE.
This is not always the case. For example, playing around with a few NT boxes would not help me understand the theory behind designing an enterprise network. There are some things that you can't always experience on your home network.
Even if my MCSE proves to be worthless in my career, i am still glad i did it because it forced me to learn things that i would have never learned through experience alone.
the only thing I learned was that MS is all screwed up
what did you expect to learn in 5 days? those boot camps only fill your head with the answers to the tests. if you cared to learn, then you would have saved your company 6 grand and just self-studied.

duh....thats the default setting.

So if two different companies hold a similar trademark, who will get the new domain? Probably the bigger company.

I was going to post a more insiteful comment, but then Netscape crashed.
I heard that the only thing you can see from space with the naked eye is the light at the top of the Luxor in Las Vegas. Yep thats what i heard.

duh...you can't run windows on an iMac.
obviously we're dealing with some kind of computer genius here. leave the big, scary computer alone and go play with your pikachu dolls.

wow settle down there with the stuff
oops...just because i reply'd to a white power post without flaming them, doesnt mean i agree with all that racist BS.

so what are you gonna do now tough guy? huh?

hey can we ban beautiful women too? i never pay attention to where i'm driving when i see a hottie in the car next to me.
"Remote Access Services" is the NT equivelent of Windows 9x "dial-up networking", so you would need that to dial to the internet.
i have to work with novell 4 and 5 servers every day and novell is Satan's Spawn. especially Groupwise.
but what, exactly does [sic] stand for?

Your MCP friend is an idiot, and should be revoked or something.
