    http://www.tannerite.com/ FTW!! its legal in most states, but i wouldn't try it behind enemy lines (Cali, MD, and others)
    sportsman guide has good targets too....

    altho being half close is fun, there is nothing like a good blast wave. just be careful it can stop your heart and screw you bad....

    oo wait wheren't we talking about lab/shop??
    a garage + basic metal tools + plans for simple 3 axis CNC + linux box = greatest summer project/lab ever, and then money maker. just wish i had the garage or room :-(

    at work, on heavily locked down pcs... the dolts in my IT heard that you can seal data with USB drives.... they epoxied the usb connectors, and got all new mice. i kidd you not. its amazes me the idots up top. side note, you want to have fun with your local secuitry personal, bring in a laptop with linux. then when they "must" run a virus scanner, let them run it it wine. its quite funny :-). more so when its IT security :-D haha good times.

    i'm switching back to COX cable in a few months once my contract is up. fios is laggy, flaky at night and worst of all the speed varies through out the day

    sad but true. they had there chance years ago. but now. team green all the way.
    i'd like to support amd/ati because of there friendlyness to oss but they just can cut it. alltho they are getting better. the R670's are _allright_ (crossfireX is there only hope) . and they should suck it up and release the 411 for that line and not vintage ones that are very quickly becomming very inadituquite.

    so now that my vid card is processing the 3d graphics and the physics (which is really only eye candy) how about we make it -the gpu- run the O/S tooo!!!! ooo ooo my next summer project! have linux run on just the video card! (openmosix is still around right :-D?) :-p what?!?!?! it runs on everything else. right now i'm typeing this on my old 700mhz laptop running the latest debian :-p

    good point. but to add to it, i recently switched distros (after 5+ years with one) just becasue i didn't like how watered down it had become. with that said i've tried some of the newer linux's and like that -on some- i can still get my 'linux' tools, like mc, ifconfig, and a bunch of other console tools.

    guis are nice for tools i'm not fimilar with.... but it takes 3 commands for me to setup a network. and i'd rater add them to a boot script then look for -then figure out- a gui tool.

    however i do like the push for more gui and windows friendly stuff. i think its good for linux as a whole. i'd just hate to see all the console tools removed. i'd like to see the gui tools have a built in "files to edit and commands to enter" help page. yea its the old way but its also the less resource intensive way... basicly what helps keep my 700mhz 256meg laptop in business. i can't help but of think of the money i have saved not upgradeing.

    thats a nice weapon! aren't we supposed to be the kings of war? i hate it when someone else make such a better gun! and when its all most as old as ours!!! why didn't the us army take the ar-18!!! whyy whyy!!! :-p hehe sorry i just rag alot because my friends dad is a vet that even today hates the m16 and ar-15's even tho the new ones are pretty slick. (i should say i own an colt ar-15 a2 ;-) )

    xbox with 3 games and drive fx wheel, extra cables $300 +shipping... who wants it? i hate buyer remorse its killing me. my 1,000 dollar 5 shot revolver was a better purchse. haha sad but true i like a few games but hate the system!!! grr!!! and it's funny because by system i mean microsoft trying to screw you out of as much money as possable. you know what i'm talking about. 50 bucks for a usb mem stick? you pay for xboxlive and they force you to see adds. they restrict all the decent 3rd party hardware :-p. etc...etc... you have to pay for simple game mods (like forza 2 cars)... etc... but that is microsoft way and why i have linux on all my pcs :-). (well and because i'm to cheap to pay for anti-virus tools)

    both cores are working. i actully have jobs openmosix (MR. moshie bar FTW!!) there way to my gaming rig from my server ( like compressing tape backups ) :-D works nice!!! seventeenorbust..... work safe ? haha i dunno by that title !

    and apparentlly linux is happy with 10% of one core...
    i guess i'll see about letting seti use some of my new chip.

    long ago in the 90's didn't saab built a numamatic valve ( like F1 cars, which they've used for decades) vasiable compression turbo charged motor years ago that could out do this motor???? also didn't they say it was to costly to built and not to mention VERY VERY unreliable?

    live cd/dvd my friend :-) thats what i do at school, it's quite fun to because people think i've cracked the comptuer. All i do is reboot when i leave and its normal :-) no one knows(even tho i've tried to explain that an OS can run from a cd).
