While I do agree with you in that the privacy of a person should not be negotiable, people do it all the time! They're known as stars, primarily out of Hollywood, CA. Once a person makes it big on TV, film or in music, they have effectively 0% privacy. They know this going in - and some actually enjoy that and get famous because if their publicity. So, maybe for those accepting the ToS, it might be worthwhile to them. But for me? Not at all.

You're very right about that... I was interviewing at a place that does custom spas and kitchens.... and everything went great, they took me up to a board room and I met some more people. Was loving it! Sounded like a tight knit family operation... until they started asking what I liked to do on my "off time." I explained I like music and art etc etc and they kept pushing at "what else?" lol Eventually, I understood it to be what do you do on Sunday (they were very discrete). So after I got the hint, and I could say it's fairly obvious they were Christian, I didn't believe they had to know what I believed in, so of course I didn't share. And needless to say, I didn't get the job. My religious beliefs should not be the deciding factor for my employment.

While I was abroad, I found it very interesting that back in the U.S., I didn't hear about U.S. Solders being killed in "The Wars." But abroad I heard about it all the time on the news. Although I knew that the media in the U.S. is fairly "censored" (not comparable to other countries such as N. Korea or China), it was amazing how much they were really keeping from us (regarding the war).

More recently, the story about the ATF sending weapons to Latin America - though it is still a "developing story," trying to find images of the heavy weapons confiscated has seemed difficult to obtain! But on the Spanish speaking news mediums, they have plenty of footage of just this! Why don't we get to see the same thing? We get shown the "new rifles sold in mass quantities by legit stores" but not the heavy anti armor and vehicle mounted weapons that you just can not buy from stores.

So while this at a glance might not seem as a story for nerds, it is appreciated by nerds... soon enough we'll learn about the specific bomb type and mechanism that was used and we'll discuss many things about that. But don't disregard it just because on the front page news it's "only a human tragedy/act of terrorism."

But I agree with OP, I have an HTC Evo 3D and why would I carry a dedicated mp3 player? 1) I've never owned an iPod (for many reasons), 2) I run sub sonic which does a lot more than any ipod/phone could ever do. So there's absolutely 0% need for an ipod. Also, I'm able to replace my battery, even buy an extended battery pack. Zero advantage to ipod/iphone.

From my conversations with others and general internet reading, other countries have been reprocessing their 'spent fuel/waste' and using it over again. In some discussions the reasons for lack of space (for storage) has come up as a primary reason of why they do it. And why they don't do it here in the U.S.A. is because of cost - it's much cheaper to just set it and "forget it" than process it which costs money. It's such a shame that it has been like this in the U.S.A.

You know, you make a very valid point:

You would crash it in a suburb, or near a city. And, even so, the panic wouldn't last very long--because a quick autopsy would reveal the "alien" pilots to be human almost immediately.

I think crashing it into a big city would cause an undesired side affect - setting off an entire nation and gaining further support for mass armament.

So here's what I would do, besides using a font straight out of predator for everything, I would basically finish the job on the inside that was started on the outside of the 'freaky pilots.' Throw in some komodo dragon parts, maybe an ostrich gizzard or two, and for good measure, an elephant's trunk. That'll do something! (oh and take out all of the human body parts). Sure, there are other things to take into consideration - how to get the 'ufo' there in the first place. But i'm sure that's easy when compared to the 'rest of the mission.'

Don't forget that both they and us had no limits to stop whatever crazy ideas we had to one up each other. And remember, Area 51 'officially, doesn't exist.'
