A little useless trivia here. Pumas and Panthers are the same animal. They are also the same animal as Cougars and Mountain Lions. It seems like most people don't know this.
Just though I'd fill you in with some useless cat knowledge.
In one of my composition classes during my freshman year a student copied a paper verbatim from Cliff's Notes. The teacher and everyone else in the class had read the Cliff's Notes for the material, so this was a really dumb move.
The teacher's solution: give her a really high grade and have her read her paper aloud in class as an example of an outstanding paper.
As she read the paper it became obvious to everyone in the class what she had done and she immediately approached the teacher and apologized, rewrote the paper, and explained the whole thing to the class at the next meeting. That class never had a problem with cheating again as far as I know.
This could be applied to CS classes if there are student's with identical programs. Give them high grades and have them each present their solutions to the class separately and they will be forced to admit what they have done as it will become obvious to everyone present.
"Well, there are less viruses on GNU/Linux and OS X because nobody runs it! Nyah!"
But, one might argue that the reason there are less viruses and the reason no one uses it are the same -- it's more difficult to do anything, user level stuff, virus programming, etc. Not that I necessarily agree with this, but it might be argued that if some of the virus-preventing things were taken away, Linux would be more suitable for the way end-users expect a computer to work and therefore more people would use it.
I have noticed this also and this is the first time I decided to incorporate it into one of my posts. It seems to have worked pretty well, but I think I'll have to use it in moderation or I'll turn into the boy who cried mod me down.
OK, there is a good example of poor delivery. I intended to reply to the poster who asked why he was modded as troll while I was modded funny. Instead, I replied to someone who doesn't care at all.
We would already be flooded with posts about how if this were a Microsoft server we would already be flooded with posts bashing Microsoft and talking about....oh, right, my bad.
Actually, I think he would pass out and start breathing involuntarily again before it got to the death point. :)
Interesting, thanks for the info! I like the 'yummy puma' you listed second :)

It's never going to fly anyway.
OK, that was bad, I admit.
I'm the poor guy that had this done to him. Took about 4 hours to get to my PC when I got back to the office.

I read your last sentence as "Capitalism isn't bad, you're just a canine"
I think halo8 is Canadian?
Don't worry, they will be liberated soon enough.

That's funny because my comment about incorporating it into my post was meant to be funny :)
Thanks! I had never heard of this, but this may be the most usefull app I've came across in a while.

It's all in the delivery.
Is it just me, or does anyone else read IANAL and pronounce it in your head as "I anal"? It drives me crazy.
Go ahead, mod me down as stupid or whatever, but I know someone else has to read it that way.
I'm pretty sure a search engine is supposed to be for whatever purpose the people making it want it to be.
