  1. MOD PARENT +5 INFORMATIVE on Sarah Palin's Stance On Technology Issues · · Score: 1

One of the most important posts regarding this election campaign.

I won't touch "global warming" or most environmentalist nuts with a ten-foot poll, but this has got to be the stupidest plan for the environment I've ever seen.

Polar bears not facing extinction? She hasn't been to Alaska or even to her neighbours has she? Even the Nunavimmiut are only allowed something like 2-3 polar bears a year, and the government wants to try and stop that too. Whales are another issue. They're an important source of energy for them, but they are some of the most spectacular creatures I've ever seen. Intelligent, long-living (some have lived for 200+ years), beautiful, and tame (only orcas are fairly violent and they're not really whales).

She definately does not deserve to be anywhere near the US capital. We'd never let anything fly like this here, not even as candidates. I'm suprised you've let her get into the system. But she's appointed and not voted in isn't she?

    Shooting animals from low-flying planes?

    Sicko, total sicko.

Fuck your "laws" I listen to no one! We all know you're a bunch of cavemen who all think that the earth is 6000 years old and was created perfect as is! All of you types believe humans frolicked with dinosaurs! Your beliefs are so stupid compared to our true ones! They are facts and totally incompatible!

Reminds me of people who scream stupid things like Ockham's Razor. Well, think about it, a wizard did it, or it all appeared out of nothing one day? What's simpler then?

There should be a -1, Religious mod. Because seriously, fuck off. Nobody invited religion to this topic. We're discussing Ms. Palin's technology platform, not what she holds true.

If only because even though I disagree with the whole socialist-green-politics, the Greens need the votes. If you get as many people convinced to vote Green too all the better. That says a lot. I don't really give a shit about what movie companies say. There are none in Canada, and if there are, they're either incredibly shitty, owned by americans, or tiny shops that wouldn't mind more exposure.

What were they thinking with the DMCA? I mean, what we need is a murdering of corporations like Rogers and Bell, not encourage them. If Verizon came to Canada we'd pay their offices, pay their wages, and help them lay down fibre. Anything is better than the fail rogers/bell/ are, shaw/telus are in the west, videotron is in Quebec, and a government-run internet is a horrible idea.

450W should be fine unless you've got 12 hard drives and dual GTX280 in SLI and one of the Pentium Ds... which you shouldn't.
