I'd check your laptop fans and make sure they are operation and not clogged.
I had a serious heat issue with a gateway until I opened it up and used compressed air to blast away some serious dust. What came out looked akin to dryer lint. No wonder that thing was getting hot.
The cleaning helped tremendously, but I had to do it fairly often. I consider issues such as this design flaws.
I tried it out for a couple hours and I think it is pretty cool overall. It seems like a natural extension of Google Earth and I enjoyed flying over a couple familiar sites.
I think it is a very good start, and I hope they continue working on it by adding more views and features!
If you have it, definitely give it a go!
I don't believe what he sent would qualify as a flame-mail. It seems to be a well-reasoned and cool-headed response to a support nightmare.
Kudos to Steve Jobs for fixing it for him.
Affirmative action is not discrimination. It is a well-established practice.
I don't apologize for her dishonesty. Instead I am willing to acknowledge the good work she has done here despite the fact that she lied about her credentials.
As a current MIT student, I am one among many who are sad to see her go. She did a great job, and has received numerous administrator awards. College admissions officers across the country appreciate all she has done to champion a more balanced admissions process. I for one am very glad we have a more balanced male/female ratio.
Those that she changed MIT admissions policy by herself are completely mistake. She was asked by the institute specifically before she became dean to find a way to increase female attendance at MIT. She acted in accordance with and with full backing by the MIT administration's wishes. She was very good at her job, which is why nobody even thought to question her credentials.

Time to put on that tin foil hat! Who is laughing now!?
Actually now that provides a comeback for those flaunting low UIDs.
Oh yeah? Well you *bought* yours!
I believe the term quid already exists for currency http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quid I wonder where they came up with this new space currency??

I guess they are just taking it offline to let things cool down. It appears that they have had a change of heart and will fight the takedown notice.
It now appears that digg is going to stand up to the takedown notice.
This controversy will likely die down now, as people rally behind digg in support of their fight against the takedown notice.
Likely the administrators took it offline to "clean up" the site and remove the posts with the key.
I think the real test of this 'movement' is the day after the storm. Sustained actions such as these are hard to perpetuate.
There's that or the possibility that you may have to take them off... depending on the polarization of the lenses.

Not quite.
If you read TFA, you'll see that this particular extinction does not fit the cycle. This one is blamed on the asteroid.
TFA says we have ~10 million years to go.
What is the point of the label without any information regarding the risks?
Let me guess... this will be just about as useless as the "found in laboratory animals" label...
I just tried it and the site freezes on the loading clock? Oh well...
Now we just have to be careful we don't inhale the experiment.
The real question is... Will it blend?
Why do I have a hard time trusting a source like "curedeath.com"?
