    There are honor classes. But should your child take one of these the grade averaged in as any other class is. If an "average" student took the class they would flunk. So the honors student takes a GPA hit to learn something of interest.

    Our public school system is the product of a broken government / legal system. (I'm not sure which broke first.)

    Too true. We are coming to Idiocracy. In fact even that movie was dumbed down by making the main character an idiot in most peoples eyes.

    I prefer to do my own research rather than to cite someone else's work. I cite my life experience.

    Funny, they blame piracy for the loss.
    Perhaps there are more like me who do not buy music or download it,
    I listen to the radio.

    They did not count the satellite radio option where you can find a
    station that plays what you want.

    They are also most likely adjusting their numbers for population
    growth to make the loss appear greater than it really is.

    On the other hand the wife calls me obsessive compulsive because I believe that the mayo
    should be put back on the same shelf and in the same location it was found.

    Without the hardware they wouldn't have a market.

    If you ADD something someone pays.
    With DRM you pay to have it on the disk.
    You pay to have hardware and software added to your players.

    All of this I pay for so that I have to spend time to circumvent it to make a backup copy for the inevitable time when it gets damaged by my kids.

    No, I don't think so. I would rather have the disk I don't have to pay extra for stuff I don't want.

    Yeppers,

    Adding any form of copy protection is a technical challenge.
    After I spend the time to crack it my payoff is to distribute it.
    So that non technical others do not have to worry about how to make
    backup copies.

    If the Temp increase is caused by pollution due to green house gasses from human pollution then the temp rise will eventually will kill off enough people that the emissions will decrease, causing a decrease in emissions, and thus a new balance. So... There are only two things to worry about: 1. Are the non-out-gassers right? 2. Are the Out-gassers right? If the non-out-gassers are right there is nothing to worry about. If the out-gassers are right, there are only two things to worry about: 1. Will my family live through it? 2. Will my family die? If your family will live through it there is nothing to worry about. If your family will die, there are only two things to worry about: 1. Will we go to heaven 2. Will we go to hell If you go to heaven there is nothing to worry about. If you go to hell you will be so busy shaking hands with friends you won't have time to worry. So why worry?
