What I don't understand is the amount of shit I used to get for sitting in front of a computer/playing Xbox Live for hours on end when doing that is at least interactive. When you sit and watch TV, you just consume, you don't input anything at all. Personally, I hate most things on TV.
Citation needed. I'll agree that Chrome has come along pretty quick, but even the highest estimate is just a hair under 9% for Chrome. Don't be going around spread false information.
I assume a lot of people who bought MBPs in the last couple of weeks will be returning theirs to get the new models. I'd look frequently at Apple's refurbished page to wait for the right option to pop up; it's worth noting that they come with the same warranty as the new ones, and most of the refurbished laptops are just ones that people have returned within two weeks of buying. They could start this week, but sometimes it's delayed several weeks. Regardless, they will show up and they will be at least $200 less than they were "new" so it's worth it to look.

So basically it's like what Google did with Buzz and Gmail contacts. You didn't learn from others' mistakes on this one did you Microsoft?
^Win.

His account number reflects this; as does yours.
Love the informative rating on this.
I suppose I should cite myself, yeah? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_web_browsers#Summary_table

CC trying to cover their ass even further eh?
Uh, says now that they can't show it.
Woah, touché.
That's what I'm wondering, because if so, that's actually frightening.
Depends where in the U.S. you're visiting. The "non-swill" beers are usually the ones that are locally brewed.
Nice find, hope the parent sees this.
I disagree, this new lineup is definitely overpriced for the 13". I haven't any idea why they didn't just opt for Core i3s.

Thanks for the link.
Given he gave a handle of Feverdream, I'm going to assume he may not have a /. account.
Good find. Someone needs to put this into the summary & change the question to "Who gave WikiLeaks supercomputer time?"
I assume it would go something along the lines of "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?"
Well, we can hope can't we?
True, but many instructors still won't give you credit if you've cited Wikipedia.
Exactly, they all just trade money with each other. It's more of a trickle sideways economy in that manner.
Yup. Dupe news.
Agreed, I love it.
Put this in Idle, not in Tech where I expect actual news.
