    I would guess that it is for the USA and the results is as one might expect based on the traditional school year in the USA. Me and my siblings were born during Oct(10) through Jan(01) because we were from a farming family. The down time for farmers is after harvest and before planting. Late Oct(10) to March(03). A School Teacher Family would try to target Late May(05) to early Sept(9) as the time to have Kids. Tim S.

    This will probably get me modded to hell by the FLOSSies, but what the hell, I got karma up the wazoo. You guys want to know why it makes sense to push Windows over Linux on just about everything? One sentence-lack of a stable ABI.

    Wow, did windows built stop using ever newer version of Visual Studio?
    Or, did they switch to an non-Visual Studio compiler?


    Because Visual Studio ABI for C++ changes with each version of Visual Studio.
    I like GCC where the ABI is more stable.

    Use common sense!

    You must have never heard of "Peak common sense". The idea that there is a finite amount of common sense that can be used in any given year. And, the the amount will peak and then will decline steady to zero. Note: Second cause is common sense per individual is declining because of population growth. Tim S.     If CO2 is a pollutant then everything is; do you not understand that? Oxygen is more of a pollutant then CO2; but, I consider neither to be pollutants. Tim S.

    Who cares if global warming is caused by humans or not? Do we actually need to prove that to reach the conclusion that polluting its own environment is a rather stupid behavior for any living being?

    I think CO2 is not pollution; but, many in the GW wish to label CO2 as a pollution. CO2 is a Green house Gas; but, not an pollutant. If you maintain CO2 is pollution; then, you need to stop breathing! I think we need better science/facts/data to enable the building of good models of world climate. More land, ocean, and space sensors are needed. I consider CO2 one of the variables that Humans can change to effect climate. But, I am not sure if it is the only major cause of climate change. Or, even if CO2 production decrease is the best or easiest way to decrease global surface temperature. I think that increasing the carbon sinks might be a better long term way to decrease C20 in the air. Tim S.

    The above is false if you live in the USA. The embryonic stem cells research was never illegal just denied Government funding in most cases. If you do not live in the USA, what country denied the use of embryonic stem cells research. Tim S.

    In a field of grain, you can grow wheat, barley, rye or oats. It's still a field. ID is still an area that people study. It's a field. You may not agree with it. I may or may not agree with things that come out of it. That's fine. It's still a field of study. Get over it.

    Diesels still don't put down a ton of horsepower...

    What's a ton? My daily driver is cranking out about 400 HP. It came from the factory at around 325.

    A horse is 400 pounds (a ton 2000 lbs.) so a ton of horse power should be 5 HP.

    one persons moral code should never prevent someone else getting medical treatment. bottom line, if you don't believe in that you don't believe in freedom. this kind of research is what will save lives in the future.

    I am one person; and, I believe killing an person for their organs is wrong. But, your view sounds like that if the majority was for it; then, it is alright. The end DOES NOT justify the means!!! Tim S.
