I just had this memento-flashback moment when I was watching this video... kinda creepy-weird moment.
Imagine you wake up and see yourself traveling in Space, that would freak most people out, lolol. (with some classical music in the background, of course). I would totally be eating my nails and my fingers.
If you look closely you can see the reflection of the street lighting on the top of the machine, sometimes you can even see the buildings reflected. It is definitely not chroma key, this guy mounted the machine on his car.
For you, the burned toast might look like Jesus Christ. For me, it looks like Bob Marley. We need to know that we look what it is more familiar to us. Now, the less biased person would be the one who is a huge Bob Marley fan AND an expert on christian iconography and is familiar with pareidolia.
But definitely, it is highly unlikely that the reporters were carrying RPGs. Common sense + observation of video + identification of the subject in the video = Definitely telephoto lens.
"What?, it must be a supersonic missile idiot!"
"Improbable sir, this one is curving and making acrobatics on the screen, actually I think it is trying to spell something"
"What does it say?"
"Catch me sucker!"
If we all agree that the real purpose of reproduction is to perpetuate ourselves for the survival of the species...
Then with the eventual eradication of death (or continuous delaying of death) our reproductive function will begin to become a liability for our survival on this planet. (Overpopulating the world, depletion of natural resources, etc...)
If we achieve perfect regeneration and become almost immortals, are we going destined to live in a sexless world?... is space colonization the answer to this problem?
The desktop display of Red Star is almost identical to that of MS Windows.
This reporter is lousy... The way she describes it, it makes one believe that North Korea made a GUI from scratch trying to exactly copy Microsoft. After finding some pictures of the GUI, I was like Helloooo? It is just a boring KDE! http://pics.livejournal.com/ashen_rus/pic/0002whq4/g16
Yeah, imagine the headlines:
"Massive wave of masturbatory practices in schools: A new Pandemic or a peaceful protest?" "Who's Kojak?, the face behind the story."
If I were in that school after knowing that they are snooping us, I would deliberately "choke kojak" (blink, blink) in front of the camera, even worse, pointing towards the camera. Then I would accuse them for secretly setting up a child pornography network.
Why would they take the risk? Once they are in your factories they can copy your products even better. See the biggest sportswear brand in china, Li Ning, even their logo is a blatant copy of Nike (but upside down) and their motto a blatant copy of Adidas ("Anything is possible" vs. "Impossible is nothing").

looks it isn't a green screen at all
"Japanese eyes are longer" so only Japanese people can really enjoy wide-screen TVs.
I wonder who's biased here. The American who sees any criticism as anti-americanism, that must be objective.

do you even know what a telephoto lens is?
three months of dictionary attack? hum... nah
I'm within your potentiality
machine > man
eventually...
mod parent up
Unless you are in Soviet Russia
The cyberguards shall monitor themselves.
You are telling me now!!??

...Staples? ;)
In our current case, where humans are actually still dying, a negative growth is actually worrisome.
The movie Idiocracy might actually have a very valid point.

Just some food for thought...
Back in my times, around the Precambrian era, we had to swim hard to get our food... and we were still unicellular!

Also look at the browser "My Country":

Yes, it is just FIREFOX just RENAMED (or forked).
My expectation went from: "wooo, North Korean Cyberarmory" to "lame".
The IT systems lack appropriate bandwidth to run multiple applications to effectively support USSS offices and operational missions around the world
For a moment I thought it said USSR, and I nodded.
Funny how the brain works, isn't it?

argumentum ad hominem?

Yeah, I used to be terrible in school...
