It's only a problem now because cell phones offer tracable evidence. Not to mention the ability forward the images on to the world.
If OSes were religions, Linux would have to be Christianity.
There are so many branches that all do basically the same thing, and are modified to suit the founder's needs.

Except for Suse, they made a pact with the devil. Haha.
Oooh! Scam the scammers!
Sell a bunch of worthless crap for $1 and charge $8 shipping.
Assuming you can get the script to automatically pay with paypal, I'll be selling all of the pennies in my change jar for $9 each!

Once I discovered FPS games using mouselook, I never wanted to play an FPS on anything but a PC.
Other genres (like driving games) are usually better on consoles though.
Best advice my wife and I ever got. Put the baby to sleep and don't tiptoe around.
We can turn on the lights and tv, and talk at normal volumes and she won't stir.
The dog can even shake off, jingling his collar and tags, causing his ears to flap loudly, and finally whipping his tail into the side of the crib making a loud thud.
Nothing from the baby, ha.
Of course it won't MAKE people sick, but mass hysteria could cause people to THINK they might be having symptoms.

There should be a google trend to detect an outbreak of idiocy.
But then again, with all the crap on the interent, that trend would be more like a constantly maxed out value.

Yes, there are tons of WWII games out there, but usually they each offer something unqiue that keeps them pretty fresh.
I wasn't sure how I'd like modern warfare, b/c I love the WWII games, but it was sweet.
The wall command is good one.
Sends a message to everyone's console. Talk is cool too.
I think you do talk username and it will send a message like wall to just that user.
Came in handy when public IM was down at work.
I don't want to help pay for healthcare of the most overweight country in the world.
Come on, we invented fast food and deep fried Oreo Cookies.
I don't want to foot the bill for that Doctor's visit.
I bet the 2 level structure is a large parking garage so every employee can drive their Hummer H2 and fit it in the garage.
The open air design will allow them to leave the H2s idling all day so the A/C can run and keep the interior at the perfect temp.
Ah - Green datacenter.
Sure, they could have based their products on some other proprietary OS, but I would imagine the startup costs would have been significantly higher, as well as the licensing cost.
I know BSD could have been used, but I was referring to a non-free OS.
So maybe they don't wholly owe their existance to Linux, but with out a free and open OS available, they may not have been possible.
What about companies that owe thier existance to Linux?
2 I can think of are Tivo and VMWare. Both of their products are based on Linux
Are their values part of the ecosystem?
That would make is a broken music player, and shitty digital camera. ha.

If you're good, you don't need the user's backup.
I recover user data from a virus infected PC, or PC with a dead/dying hard disk fairly often.
It's amazing what you can do with a Gentoo boot CD and a busted PC.
Since they have all the card info, maybe those mail in rebates can be deposited automatically when they receive it. Hah!
Where is 'whatcouldpossiblygowrong', 'terminator', and 't2000'?
