    It's only a problem now because cell phones offer tracable evidence. Not to mention the ability forward the images on to the world.

    If you're good, you don't need the user's backup.

    I recover user data from a virus infected PC, or PC with a dead/dying hard disk fairly often.

    It's amazing what you can do with a Gentoo boot CD and a busted PC.

    Once I discovered FPS games using mouselook, I never wanted to play an FPS on anything but a PC.
    Other genres (like driving games) are usually better on consoles though.

    Best advice my wife and I ever got. Put the baby to sleep and don't tiptoe around.
    We can turn on the lights and tv, and talk at normal volumes and she won't stir.
    The dog can even shake off, jingling his collar and tags, causing his ears to flap loudly, and finally whipping his tail into the side of the crib making a loud thud.
    Nothing from the baby, ha.

    Oh yeah - I totally wish I bought a ton of that stock when it bottomed out from that.
    There should be a google trend to detect an outbreak of idiocy.
    But then again, with all the crap on the interent, that trend would be more like a constantly maxed out value.

    I loved the COD games.
    I thought COD4 was really good.
    It was like a good movie, over too soon
    Yes, there are tons of WWII games out there, but usually they each offer something unqiue that keeps them pretty fresh.
    I wasn't sure how I'd like modern warfare, b/c I love the WWII games, but it was sweet.

    The wall command is good one.
    Sends a message to everyone's console.
    Talk is cool too.
    I think you do talk username and it will send a message like wall to just that user.
    Came in handy when public IM was down at work.

    I bet the 2 level structure is a large parking garage so every employee can drive their Hummer H2 and fit it in the garage.
    The open air design will allow them to leave the H2s idling all day so the A/C can run and keep the interior at the perfect temp.

    Sure, they could have based their products on some other proprietary OS, but I would imagine the startup costs would have been significantly higher, as well as the licensing cost.
    I know BSD could have been used, but I was referring to a non-free OS.
    So maybe they don't wholly owe their existance to Linux, but with out a free and open OS available, they may not have been possible.

    2 I can think of are Tivo and VMWare. Both of their products are based on Linux
    Are their values part of the ecosystem?
