If I'm the CEO of a big-ass Insurance Company, Bank, Airline or Widget Manufacturer and I just invested a bajillion hours of developer time into creating software that gives me an advantage over my competition, why would it be in my best interest to give my code away?
Since most Linux OSs are free, there's no business reason to bloat up the system with feature frills.

Terrafugia... says they've already received advanced orders for 30 to 50 Transitions. Either you have an order or you don't. You cannot express the number of advanced orders received as a range unless you want to tip off a world full of rational reasonable people that you're simply blowing smoke.

What difference does it make to MS if Windows Vista is installed on a Mac or Dell? A customer buying Vista at retail for a Mac sends more dollars to MS than Dell does for an OEM copy. It's a good deal for MS.

If a qualification is "minimum five years experience... " and the applicant has zero years experience, it would take how many years of "training" before the applicant is qualified?
