I am surprised how many people still get this wrong. Since they are the copyright holders of the work they can do whatever they want with it, period. As a copyright holder you don't license the software to yourself. That would be stupid.
You DO realize that when you shoot the telephone sanitizers out to space, you will be wiped out by a particularly virulent disease contracted from an unexpectedly dirty telephone?
This won't work properly in the Netherlands, because most traffic lights respond to traffic using induction loops in the road. If you add a system that directs traffic responding to the way the lights work, you'll have a loop and my guess is you'll get oscillations.
It isn't about the overall distance, but about the distance traveled on busy roads, which you can't measure with the odometer and you can't rely on cell phones, because ppl will just switch them of or use prepaid.
The 'car use tax system' is proposed to reduce traffic jams, not to save the environment. The latter is just added to the mix in order to gain politically.
For saving the environment, just raising gas prices is a lot easier.
Thanks for putting my feeling to words. However, I must admit that this feeling is somewhat hypocritical. I mean, just taking pity on an animal because you happen to like it. Pigs for example are equally smart and adorable (although less handsome) as dogs, yet we put them in small cages and butcher them by the millions. This one dog being cloned and maybe not even having a particularly bad life is bliss by comparison.
The Palestinians don't believe in freedom of speech.
I am not really surprised the Palestinians don't believe in freedom of speech. 60 years of oppression by neighbors tends to do that to a people. This tiny little fact is always conveniently omitted in statements like these.
That wouldn't have been a problem, since that is what BSD'ed code is for. The other way around (bsd ppl 'stealing' linux gpl'ed code) is a problem, so my guess is that was what happened and that is also the way I remember it.
"your product name"? Is that you Linus?
Oh no, not again.

That's no problem. I don't want WE7 anyway, so whatever.

Droste for the win.
> Photons don't interact with each other
Correct, but we are talking about radio waves, which do interact.
So according to you, radio waves are not photons?
If you like!
Seriously .... could it be any worse than it is now?
Very dangerous question. "just when you're thinking things couldn't possibly get any worse, they suddenly do."
In Soviet Russia copyright violates you!!! tube...
Where are my troll points when I need them

I thought we didn't have software patents in Europe? What's all this?
Super Scrabble Players Have Unusual Brains?
And Super Chess Players have usual brains? Of course I haven't read TFA, but really?
The page on Inchoate offense doesn't say anything about "inciting others" being such an offense.
It will be later today, though if I can figure out what it means!
I fear the sound of whoosh, but wouldn't that just be a turdy astroturfer?

But hey, if you're lucky, you'll get to kiss Angelina! That should be worth your trouble.
Ever thought of going into advertising?
The worse the programmer... ...the more the complaints about bad language features.
That may be true, but that doesn't make those particular features 'good' language features.
many scientists would agree (either publicly or anonymously due to fear) that human caused global warming IS a hoax.

only Israel gets called on the carpet for that anytime money is in question. Funny that.
Yeah funny... I wonder why that is.
