  1. Chicago2016.olympic.org on Graduate Student Defends Right To Own Chicago2016.com · · Score: 1

If they really want the name so bad, they should just make a reasonable offer to purchase it, not cry about their mistake. Or... they could just register a different name that is available and still makes sense... *SHOCK!*. In fact... why dont they use the official olympics domain for all olympics from now on? Using a subdomain, they could easily have Chicago2016.olympic.org...

  6. PC Gaming Far from Dead on NVIDIA Quad SLI Disappoints · · Score: 1

I really don't see it. PC gaming is far from dead in my opinion. As others have already mentioned, costs of consoles is continually increasing. Cost of PC's on the other hand is continually dropping. That being said, more and more people now have PC access. Thanks to the internet, it is extremely easy to distribute a PC game. I'm currently developing a free PC game called Battle City. It's available online and anybody can stop by to try it out. Since more and more people are getting online, I have endless opportunities to find new users and players. They don't need to buy a console in order to play the game and they don't need to buy a PC to play it, they already have the PC! On topic of the graphics cards, there are tons of quality games available that do not need such an expensive card to be played.

I would definitely love to play a game that is based on realistic science. Playing the game could be a fun learning experience for many as well as entertaining just for the sake of playing.

This is a really interesting technology if it is developed successfully and is made affordable. I've played a lot of games and if there is one thing all users love, its to customize their characters! Of course, how real is too real? I don't usually pick my characters to replicate me physically hmm.. :)
