No people are buying netbooks. The cheapest netbook on the market is more powerfull than the computer I had only a few years ago. Do most people need more for what they use a computer for.
Hibernate, suspend, and other power saving features is really working well on my Dell inspiron 6400 with Win 7 Beta Build 7000. It worked good in Vista also but I did have a few problems with what it would do if I closed the lid with it plugged in and then unplugged it. Win7 also adds a "Dim the Display" interval.
Buy another cheap router and a cheap switch. Run WPA personal for your Wii and PSP or WEP if you have a DS. Plug both of your routers into the switch. Plug your switch into your cable modem. If your ISP won't assign you two IP's for a couple of bucks a month then move or something.
Unless you have electric heat, AC for all those days in upstate NY over 100F, and 100% electric appliances you aren't getting the full picture. What is your electric bill+Gas Bill+Fuel Oil Bill+$OtherEnergySource Bill?
Does it get over 100F where you live? Below 40F? Do you have A/C? Do you have electric heat? Do you have a pool? Do you have an electric hot water heater? Do you have an electric range? Do you have an electric clothes dryer? Do you have LCD tv's and monitors? For some of us the answer to all of these questions is "yes." If you answer yes to all of these questions then I applaud you. My wife and I alone used 3200kWH during July of this year. It only cost me $331.92 but that is because I get much cheaper electricity than California.
Anyone in the southwest running a 3-6 ton heatpump in the summer when it is over 100F and the winter when it is below 40F. My house is 1400 sq. ft. and even though I have one of the cheapest electricity rates in the country (APS combined advantage 7am-12pm)I still pay $250-350/mo. during the summer. So far my bills for Nov. and Dec. have only been around $150/mo but I also have a load controller on my house which many people say cuts their bills in half. Basically I set a maximum demand limit in kW's and the unit prevents either my A/C, dryer, and/or hot water heater from running if need be to stay under that limit depending on the priority set for each appliance. Currently I have it set at 2.0kW but during the summer it needs to be above 5.5 for the A/C to run enough to keep the house cool. The unit does not restrict anything during off peak hours.
If you don't like the laws of your state move to a different one. In Arizona it takes about 20 minutes to buy a brand new handgun, rifle, or shotgun as long as you don't havea criminal record and you don't have any warrants. There is no waiting period. If you want to buy a used gun legally from a private party then there is no paperwork required at all, just cash.
I would think that most people on an American website reading an article about how the yellow line is created to indicate first down would not be thinking about soccer when they see the word "football." Your definitely right though, 914.4cm to first down is so so easy. Look how easy it is to turn into meters, 9.144 meters, I didn't even have to use any magic numbers.
If anyone is paying five dollars per kwh they have bigger problems than PC's being left on (hint: that is not "very low"). Don't worry though, anyone could have missed that line at the top of the chart that they searched the internet for that says, "Table 5.6.A. Average Retail Price of Electricity to Ultimate Customers by End-Use Sector, by State, August 2008 and 2007(Cents per kilowatthour)."
If only you had ever paid an electric bill you would know that $18.50 makes a lot more sense, or is it cents, now I'm confused.

"well shucks. I live over her in Teague on the Due hiway and my barn rattled so hard it knocked a couple bales of hay down from the top loft and scared my cows and they went hitailing thru the fence and out on the due hiway and pulled two big old pecan trees down and blocled the darn hiway. I don't reckon it's anyone's fault though."
So if I had a better TV with better scaling (more expensive) I would agree with him that HD is not better and I could save a few dollars a month??? Your ideas intrigue me and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
And each pixel is now represented by an array of 16 pixels. I want my TV to display video with higher resolution than a lite-brite. Your opinion may vary. I will pay the few extra dollars for HD programming.
Yeah but only using 2/3 of my TV is painful too. Therefore I bought an up-converting DVD player and will eventually buy a PS3. Also, HD DirecTV is only a few dollars more a month, they give you the receiver for free and the picture is phenomonal and uses all of your screen.
Disclaimer: if you think that HD and SD TV are nearly indistinguishable then do not reply. Either you have a crappy TV or you just don't care, good for you.
How could I possibly have know that?

Generate 63 random chars. Put on CD. Setup Wi-Fi once on each PC using the CD. Lock the CD in your safe.
What's the replacement for VZAccess?
Oh, and that $350ish during the summer was for 3200kWh.

You can only do this once a year, fyi. After that you have to E-mail itunes support and ask them to do it for you.
Maybe you're already a casualty?

Someone did this. There was a /. story. I am too lazy to look it up.

and you only need to sit 80 ft away!!!!!
I didn't until you pointed it out. Oh, to think where we would be without your brilliance.

If enjoying television, movies, and video games make me a tool then so be it.
Your statement is true even if they never turn on the LHC.
