    Random distribution means that lumps will form.

    This is relatively obvious chaos theory.

    Even more so when objects can grow closer due to huge centers of mass.
    This might be how black holes start for all we know...

    5-pin MHL adds video.
    11-pin MHL (samsung only atm unfortunately) adds OTG capabilities.

    The connector is awful though, no other usb cable type breaks as easily for me.

    The comparison was between windows and linux.

    More importantly between building your own box.

    That's a HUGE difference from your valid point about something entirely different.

    Not really in question no.

    They can go back on everything they've said and make it closed, but it is supposed to be open and hackable from everything they've said.

    Not steam itself, but everything else.

    I was having pretty much the same thought myself.

    Why would you want a 64-bit processor on a phone?

    The two possible answers is:
    1: They want to prepare for the future where you would actually want that, and by enabling it now they will start moving developers over.
    2: They want to make a desktop version of iOS, probably with the aqua layer as a possibility (and since iOS basically runs the same kernel as OSX it should be quite easy to tack on) which will create hybrids.

    With a lightning connector, it should be quite easy to create a sexy product which can do a little bit of everything.

    Docking the phone to a keyboard and screen is what is interesting.
    Or in a laptop.

    Or a phone in a tablet in a keyboard.

    And so forth.

    Not sure this will be the future, but it's a neat concept.

    Trademark is to be able to claim ownership of a product.

    Meaning, you can actually build a reputation.

    Basically, if I buy a Lenovo Thinkpad x230, I don't want it to actually be a Packard Bell netbook.

    That is what trademarks are about.

    So, no, pretty much nothing like patents.

    A quick change from a very meat-based diet to a fully vegetable one is harmful since you can't digest.

    Not so much a meme as people slowly realizing that wazting resources is a bad idea.

    Insects are extremely efficient at converting unusuable substances for our purposes to useful sources of protein.

    Orders of magnitude more efficient then all mammals.

    What I'm saying is that the bible in it self is not a moral code.
    At all.

    It's not always clear what overrides what and what doesn't, and, more specifically, since it never claims to be the divine word (unlike the Koran) everything in it is less relevant than the living traditions within the religion.

    Some traditions DEFINITELY derive from the bible, but huge swats come from the culture in which it is present, or, from Rome.

    For instance, puritanism comes almost directly from Rome and the fact that Christianity was used as a state religion at least in part to impart those values.

    Have you actually sat down and talked with an actual scientist in the field?
    Instead of only reading laymans interpretations of what they say?

    You might be surprised that they can actually answer all of the dumb questions.

    Deniers usually attack a simplified view made to explain extremely complex things to layman and then find some holes in the simplificiation and then deny everything based on it.

    Actually, porn is not that dangerous, there was even an article on slashdot about it some months ago.

    Cracks are VERY often laden with crap though.
    Even if they aren't, they often perform dirty stuff to your system which opens up opportunities for other crap to get in.

    It's not really as in the bible, that is the fundamentally wrong part about what constitutes moral in a religion.

    It's the moral tenents of the actual religion which in general are held in esteem.

    It's not really about interpretation, Christians do not follow most of the Bible, which is VERY, VERY fortunate.
    I'd hate to see raped women being forced to marry their rapists for instance.
