I've had a few pages deleted for being "non notable". While that may be true on a large scale, burying obscurities is never a good thing.
One page about a particular spyware was scrubbed completely (no history) and redirected to the general page for "Spyware" - all that work people put together on it was gone and the aspies at wikipedia refused to revive even the historical info.
"Is this one of the early firsts in the new genre of video game mashups?" Hell no. Anyone who has ever downloaded ROMs even knows that a single archive of one game has tens of different hacked copies where the textures and/or bitmaps and sprites have been replaced/re-themed.
Indeed it is.
In uTorrent, for example, the peers tab displays everyone you are sharing with for the highlighted torrent(s). i.e. One torrent hilighted only shows the IPs/hosts for that one, multiple highlighted (shift+click, etc) shows the concatenation of IPs/hosts. Encryption does not hide this fact from clients, only form passive network sniffing.
Encryption only helps when sniffing someone's network for BT traffic as ISPs do. All you need to do is open your favorite torrent client, wait for the tracker for your *.torrent to give you peers and look at your peers window. Pure unadulterated IPs, for which the client either allows to connect directly to you, or you connect directly to them.
If for some reason your client doesn't have a peers tab/window, just do a netstat and see the flood of IPs and hosts you are connected with.
iMobileCinema has been doing this for a loooonnnng time for us jailbreakers. All it does is find the flv for the relative flash player and play it with the internal video app.
I read it just fine - and no, I've never used a 1:1 format. ...
Look at how you're holding your camera/phone right now. Now rotate the camera 90degrees in either direction - voila!
Many times you need to re-rotate it on the computer after transfer as many softwares ignore EXIF rotation (where available).
The listed "surprise" working sites are no surprise at all. They are not flash per se, but use flash video; YouTube-esque. Sites like this have been possible on MobileSafari for ages if you were jailbroken with iMobileCinema installed. It just ignores their flash player but detects the flv video file and uses the internal player to play that.
What's so exciting is that virtually any gene can be targeted now. Every protein now is druggable.

This has potential as an anti GATACA, making people more subservient, less/non violent. What's to stop [controlling body] from slipping in some extra alterations alongside the cancer stopper?

I've always wondered if I started this... I created an adhoc by that name exactly in 2003 on a whim to see who'd try to use it. I flew from SFO, ATL, MCO, OAK, HON while broadcasting it (also had it broadcasting while at the hotels incl Disney world resorts when I paid for the night's internet) and have slowly been seeing it randomly since.
I don't think he was talking about the database size, but the fact that both AVG and Avast (I use both) have moved to highly customized skinned UIs and have completely removed any native UI components and include useless junk that slows your system (eg safesearch/linkscanner) in their installers that makes "Custom install" the only practical method
Excellent google of my nick, but that's just a sliver of the info we wrote about it. It's been years anyway, thanks though!

Hemorrhoids?
If it's your ex, chances are she's already shit talked you to her friends and you're already at 0.
Everything must be pre-paid. If you give paper money to the cashier, you may return for change after filling up if you don't spend it all.
You know a photo of a key is as good as a mold to create duplicates from, yea?

Move along, nothing to see here.

You mean to tell me when I connect to a large pool of people, there is a large pool of people there?
But your ISP needs to hire people to enforce their abuse and create more abusive practices; those are the lost jobs.
You mean stereotype. I dare say Princess Peach wasn't Italian with her Anglo looks...
You must be confusing iPad with iPod Touch

You go here or here.
Any camera without a 1:1 aspect ratio.
This just in! Having multiple spot lights pointing in different directions spreads light in more places!
[patent pending]
I don't know about in the universe, but they sure can compare the pulsars to human atomic clocks.
Don't look at it in the light of "win money", but for its "entertainment value". These people are paying for entertainment.
Though I agree; if you play virtual games to win physical assets, you are an idiot.

Wake me when sites like addictinggames work.
Still doesn't work in links/lynx :(
