I've read through the wiki leaks releases, and there is little to nothing within them that couldn't be found in the MSM or inferred through a basic knowledge of international affairs.
So, you're saying that he didn't aide the enemy because the information was already published?
MS may not have been telling a lie, just not the full truth. This is just clever phrasing by MS marketing.
If Munich decides to go back to MS products then it will cost them 43.7 million Euros. By that logic (as faulted as it is) it is true that they could have saved that amount by staying with MS products.
Seriously? I don't think you've thought this through well. If you offer a service that uses 56KB/ps for each client, then obviously each of your customers can have a good connection, but you as the provider need a connection with enough throughput to accommodate all of your clients.
Keep in mind that the Goldilocks zone only applies to the carbon-based life that we're familiar with. The diversity between the different types of life developed within the different types of Goldilock zones is what really intrigues me. Think of the periodic table and try to imagine a life form that could have evolved from each element.
The field sobriety test isn't the best either. I can't pass one sober. I can walk the line toe-to-heel, stand on one foot and count, pat my head and rub my belly, or anything else, but by the time I'm done, I've always been told I failed. Then I request a breathalyzer and they see that I haven't had a drop (and no, not under the influence of anything else either). If I'm asked to take a field sobriety test, I just go ahead and request the breathalyzer to save everybody time.
Are you serious? The vast majority of the prisons here in the U.S. are privately owned by different corporations that charge the states and local governments a set dollar amount per bed per day. If all of their beds are filled all the time, then they're losing money. How do they help insure they keep their beds full? Lobby for ridiculous laws, most likely. They have a set overhead (food, staff, facility, etc), and a product/service that they charge for. These are corporations, not Non-profit Organizations. The corrective system is highly privatized.
You haven't driven in the US have you? Spend 5 minutes on the road and you will see many people behind the wheel that have no business at all driving.
Besides, driving shouldn't be a privilege, it should be a right. Our taxes pay for the roads, the signs, the stop-lights and everything else remotely related. How is it a privilege to use something that I (in part) pay for?
This reminds me of the decision that you have the right to root or do whatever you want with your phone, because you bought and paid for it; though not exactly relevant.
Bush already joined in the Holy War declaring WMD's; now it's Obama's turn to announce a water shortage that can only be solved by the waters of that region.
I get to buy a tank of gas... wait no I don't. Let see here, paid $200, get $16 back? I don't see exactly how this punishes Microsoft. I understand how there are a lot of people that use MS, and they'll end up paying a fairly large sum; but to each individual it doesn't even come close to how they were ripped off.
and i just noticed that I replied to an Anonymous Coward... the following comments will be deserved.
i'm just going to duck in the corner for a bit.
well obviously you're wrong. did you see the pictures of the thing in flight?

Is it bad that I read that just fine, then realized that every word was messed up?

I for one welcome our new gamma ray overlords! :)
