(I self-sensored the title) ok I remember steve jobs leaving apple... maybe I should read the article, but what I get from comments so far is... Is it business as usual ? Business of the internet age ? (Google is one of the first big internet-based companies)
My problem in the early days I discovered google was what will happen if google for some reason stopped all services it was offering (on those days mainly the serch engine I think) and all data stored by google and helped us discover the web dissapeared (more dangerous now that we have gmail and we don't store our e-mail locally). Well not likely to happen... but still not impossible:)
I am 33, the only project I have is a Pac-Man style game in it's early stages. I have very little experience in other areas of computing. So as ePhil_One said "Figure out what you are good at, and what you enjoy doing, then go after that job."

and I liked the other sig which is similar to Pac-man "You are in a maze of twisted little posts, all alike."
Yes I think behind this satirical answer hides the truth.
The "console" I used during that time was an Amstrad 6128.
(NES wasn't all that big in my country).
But I have something to add (If no-one told this yet).
This computer shaped my future... I tried really hard to
enter the department of Informatics just because I was
fascinated with this computer.
I succeeded and I am still searching for a job:) .
