According to the article this large rock falls short of the defenition of a planet. Shoot some people don't consider pluto a planet.
If we call every large rock in the solar system a planet then there is a good chance there a dozens perhaps hundreds of planets out there.
Yea think 3.6 billion is far, I wouldn't be surpised if they start finding "planets" 50 billion out there
Still I like the idea of there be more planets out there.
Ok how many people have moniters that can do 1600x1400?
This will require some serious cash to get a moniter that can take advantage of the newest video cards.
That and the roughly $600 dollars for the card; who can afford all this anyway?
I got the Geforce DDR for $300 and I thought that was insanly expenesive.
No way I am spending ($600 + ($500 to $1000)) dollars just to play at resolutions that don't look THAT much better then 1024x768.
Ok help me clarify this, Is this a Game console or a PC that hooks up to a tv? The X-box not the Tivo.
The specs on this thing are very similar to my own computer setup. VERY similar for that matter. Nvidia Graphic's card, 128 ram 40 gigs of storage)
Hmm wonder if I hook my computer up to a TV can I call it an X box? Course I would then be sued by Microsoft for Copyright Infrigment and thrown in jail for all time.:)
So how long before MPAA starts trying to use this to stop mp3's.
Imagine mpaa using this to track who stole what song?, maybe a uniqe tumbprint on every CD. Tech wise that would be kinda of hard.
They can barely get there 1 Ghz out the door, there 1.13 Ghz seems to have lots of stability problems, and there going to try and market this?
Come on, get the stuff you are already selling to work correctly and produce it in suffient volume for demand; then start annoncing other stuff.
Q. Who in there right mind anounces new stuff when they can't handle their current orders.
A. Marketing people for starters.
To us americans the US is the entire world. Nothing else matter's.
When your big, you can do what you want.
Whether this is good or bad i'll let others decide. But this is how it is.
Hmm it is expensive enough putting anything in space. Can you imagine the cost of putting the worlds biggest telescope in space? Granted the resolution would be pretty nice.
Fist of the North star?! that takes the concept of blood and guts to new levels! this makes violent anime movies look like barney. Granted we would all like to see barney turned inside out, but this movie goes beyound the realm of good taste. has some awsome fight scenes though.
true, but almost everyplace i contact says that, it kind of limits my job options. and i am not a master level programmer yet so i can't be too picky about jobs
yea, but try and send a resume in anything other then a word doc, and they reject it. I have had plain text resumes returned, and been asked for a msword doc instead.
To come up with something that works well, would take enormous amouts of time and resources, as well as adding huge over head to the system. Hmm, wonder if intel is gonna push this.
This kind of technology would us be seriously in danger of doing nothing but annoying the end user. Ever gotten into a fight with Microsoft Word over some formating issues? It can be dang near impossible to get it to do what you want because it is being so helpfull. Still if ever got impletmed correctly, and wasn't annoying, it would be nice.
Now this is good news for science. It's gonnatake time for the scientest to figure out how to use H-3 proper. But Once they do then just imagine how much effort companys are going to spend on making space travel economicaly feasible. Untill now there was little practical to go to space. Now we have a tangible goal for outer space Not just braging rights for putting a man on the moon, but something that is actuly usefull.

Ok does this quailfy as a Internet tax? Too bad ATT is the only source of broad band I have.
I agree on that, that book was totaly worthless. However I have found MySQL by New Riders to a good book for learning to do PHP and MySQL
Yea but we invented the internet.
You think someone who invents something is just going to give complete control over it to other people.

Looks like he was refering to Quake 3. Having it playable at that resolution is impressive enough.

With these doc's I will build my own out of date machine, make millions and put Nintendo, Sega and Sony out of busniess!

Key taps are FAR faster then handwriting.
'The cost, which will be squashing independently recorded music forever, is simply too great.'
I think that is the music industry's point.

Hmm, microsoft wants the freedom to inovate, microsoft bob proves what happens when they actully inovate.
As apposed to just stealing ideas.
