Actually, as an owner of an aluminum MacBook Pro and mechanical engineer, I believe this is actually an effect of having a poorly grounded outlet/home. My fiancees house is not grounded, and that is where I've had it the worst. This effect is also present when using a two prong transformer abroad. I experienced this in Russia, and on a ship I worked on. When using a well grounded AC outlet, the current dissipates from the shell. Also- if you unplug your laptop, you can then plant your feet firmly and rub your palms over the shell and dissipate the charge in less than a minute.

First of all, you shouldn't be using Autocad to do any 3d design. Ask Autodesk and they will tell you the same thing. Maybe you meant Autodesk Inventor, or one of the other software suites designed for 3d design and rapid prototyping. All Autodesk software is free to students- and the licenses last for several years now. If you are too poor to take an online class or a continuing education class at the local community college, then it probably isn't too hard to just say you are a student and get your free software legally.

But, realistically, you are probably just trolling for mod points because noone who does rapid prototyping would ever consider using Autocad.

I got back to the country after six months to find two dozen garbled voicemails from a debt collector. My voicemail message stated that I was out of the country and could be reached at a certain e-mail address. It turns out the hospital had misfiled a claim and the insurance providers contract with that hospital required that claims be filed properly within six months. The hospital ate it, but not before I went through weeks of torture. Try explaining to a debt collector over the phone that the bill was a mistake and that it is being taken care of. The response being in poor english: "I don't understand sir, why don't you just give me your credit card information..." They threaten to have your house/vehicles taken away and will do anything to get the money, because they get a large cut of the debt. Had they simply listened to the voicemail message, they could have gotten their money properly.
