The vast majority of home theater setups have the rear speakers positioned terribly. Many people want their seating as far back as possible so they put the back speakers up high where you can only hear them through reflection off the front wall anyways. This problem is worse when extra side speakers come into play.
I have a steel business card case that I use as a wallet since I hardly ever carry cash anymore. All of the card readers I've used at various buildings will read my door pass (RFID?) right through the case as long as I hold it a little closer to the reader.
I understand it's just another port to plug things in. Just what we need, laptops with fifteen different input and output ports. VGA, DVI, HDMI, DP, USB3, whatever thunderbolt is, FW, eSATA, unique docking connector, Ethernet, unique power socket, and a card reader for eighteen different cards. I'm sure I've missed a few.
Even the ones that aren't coated are more expensive. Hell, an 80mg coated pill is more than twice the price of a 325mg coated pill. The technical term is 'gouging'.
I like to think that I have an okay understanding of how my computer works. When quantum computing becomes mainstream a computer will truly be a mystical device with magical power, but I'll still just use mine to play sudoku while I'm on the bus.
There's also nothing that says a CD needs to be recorded or mastered with any attention to quality. Big deal. The facts are that FLAC files available online are almost always a direct rip from a CD, which is almost always recorded and mastered by professionals who know what they're doing.
Most mouthwashes have significant alcohol in them, up in the 20% - 30% range. It isn't a myth, it's right on the fracking label. As for interfering with a breath test you'd have to have used the mouthwash within about fifteen minutes prior.
People are willing to pay a little more. The key word there is little. People do not understand that a change of this magnitude will affect end price in a big way.
Upgrading the network doesn't happen overnight. Throttling is their way of delaying the upgrade, which is acceptable if only they hadn't screwed over their customers. They should have sent out an email stating that they were throttling the connections, and they'd also have to suspend any early termination fees. To keep customers at that point they'd probably have had to reduce rates as well. I'm not saying that throttling is ok with me, just that they could have held up in court if they hadn't been greedy dicks.

You can't change TFA after I post and then say "Hey look it's in TFA. Are you blind?". Morons.
Is this a submarine or not? Wikipedia calls it a surface boat, while the linked article is unclear. Anybody have some solid info on this thing?
This applies double to airline tickets. Consumers are the ones pushing for Cheaper! Cheaper! Cheaper! and look where that's got them.

The missing matter is all in the form of single unmatched socks.
The Sun isn't going to go supernova at the end of its life. Too bad. Would have been cool.
Well, you can always drive while texting.
They'll have chemicals, but there's no reason to have massive quantities of chemicals that are lethal in small amounts through skin contact alone.
Unfortunately you won't find gallon jugs of hydrofluoric acid in a high school chem lab.
Anybody up for an epic game of capture the flag?
Ah, I get it. You pack around a docking station that has a hundred ports on it. That fixes the problem.

A robot that does anything like that is going to cost more than 2 million.
Your typing was 12% better this month. Keep up the good work!

Did the study explain why daily low dose aspirin is far more expensive than a full dose? The homeopathic preparation must cost a fortune.

Where's that? The middle east?

Going before a judge isn't third party arbitration. Is it?
