A frog is not as intelligent because... he doesn't need to be that smart and reasoning to survive. His mechanism is having 10,000 little eggs and, with any luck, a handful will survive to reproduce.
actually frogs have a very developed breeding system based on pheromones- the same way that a pack of wolves or coyotes will not go into heat and reproduce until the alpha male secretes the "go ahead" signal there is in a community of frogs the ability for an "alpha frog" to secrete pheromones that not only bring about the breeding go ahead, but also creates a forced gender change in the surrounding frogs making them- basically his bitches. As well there are a number of other animals (mostly lizards I believe) that are unisex and have the ability to both widen the genepool through reproduction as well as increase their lineage by laying "cloned eggs" that contain their own genetic material.
all in all our human reproduction is pretty limited and uncreative
except for the fact maybe that animals can't score over the internet

we cannot call them that because, we support rebels, people that stand up to a gov't that they feel is wrong are supported by the US, unless they are INSURGENTS.
look, I don't support the insurgents, but we are really in the middle of a civil war and trying to choose sides, it is ridiculous to do so. if you ask people who do they want to win sunni or shea here in the US most people don't know or care- neither one of them is al-qeda all they want to do is opress their population in the manner that they see fit- sunni one way shea the other. The fact of the matter is that I wouldn't be surprised if once we are gone from iraq whoever ends up in charge will commit atrocities on the other population.

The argument that people make isn't that soldiers are stupid or butchers or what have you-
the argument is really: what are we really trying to accomplish for this country and is it worth killing and dying for and is any of this worth the hurt that it is doing to our country economically and militarily
I think that you will find that most people don't see that there is anything accomplished and that it is stretching ourselves thin in our actual defenses at home from both terrorism and natural disasters. You will also find, that as I believe the war is doing nothing but working to serve the self interests of a few people who are willing to destroy and throw away the lives of hundreds of thousands of people (both americans and iraqis).

I disagree 100% with this one, the government needs to be depended on and it needs to be accountable. It is like hurricane Katrina- where there were a million "heartwarming stories" of people giving to help people in need and it made me sick to my stomach- when FEMA couldn't do their damn job- there is a reason that about a third of my paycheck goes away every month and that isn't to give money to corporations and to pay for killing citizens of Iraq and to give the **AA new laws, it is to pay for the security that our government supplies against things like natural disasters and to keep national highways running and to make sure people aren't starving in the streets and to keep our borders secure from criminals (not farmworkers) and the list goes on and on. The government is big and like a parent to it's citizens- if you saw a mother deciding that if she starved her kids so that she could by a Ferrari would you say- "It's the kid's fault- he/she should get a job and pay for themselves"? Hell no you would say that the mother is abusing her position as a parent and needs to change what she is doing.

I have personally always thought that we should have a board of presidents- 5 presidents and a cabinet of policy made up of ranking vice presidents- it would force the office of the president to come to a consensus on policy before it is made and takes away the 1 vote veto that the president holds.
I mean think about it- how many corporations have 1 guy that makes all of the decisions- every company no matter how bad has a board of directors that are held accountable for some form of consensus on major company decisions- the offie of the president should be like this.
barring this I think that we should go back to the most votes is pres.- second most is VP like the office was designed- if this white house was bush and kerry or the previous being bush and gore- the whole world would be a lot different.
