Perhaps you should have clicked the link I supplied. In this case it would be dry vapor composed of thc, which is a bronchiodilator (sp?), and would allow for easier breathing.
While that has changed for the better recently, it is true that flash tends to crash more often on Linux. However, the plugin is in a separate process, as the GP was talking about, under linux. I honestly haven't had a flash related crash in at least 4 or 5 months, but when I did I would just kill npviewer.bin and firefox was happy to stay open.
Actually, illicit drugs are an interesting case because most of them are imported but local dealers still use the American system. It creates an interesting mix. One can generally purchase them in quantities of grams, 1/8 ounce, 1/2 ounce, ounce, quarter pound, half pound, pound, and then kilo. So for the most part they stay American, and only the smallest and largest amounts are metric, presumably for convenience.
Yeah? So? Vaporware isn't usually considered as such until it's overhyped and overdue. They haven't even announced it yet, and it's not something so revolutionary that it would even be likely to become vaporware.
He just wanted it to be a normal maximization, not full screen. I'm fairly certain he'd be horribly confused if he had "no way" of getting back to IRC.
It's a tough job handling the ubuntu IRC channel. The other day some guy was asking how to maximize firefox. We told him to click the box in the upper right corner, and he didn't understand. So someone asked what version he was running, and he gave the output of firefox -v (or whatever command it is for version). It was baffling that he could use the command line but not maximize the window. I think (hope) he was joking. Or maybe it was Richard Stallman.
I'd just like to point out that this post was made nearly an hour before the identical post that was modded 5,funny. The mods are really blowing it today. But I still love all you guys.
You can say Ubuntu isn't linux, but it's what all those Dell buyers are going to see.
You could say that, but of course you'd be wrong. And Nvidia drivers work far better on ubuntu than ATI drivers. I'm not sure where your 2 year head start is from but Nvidia has been supporting linux for far longer than ATI has even been putting out proper drivers. Where are you getting all this from?
If it's a really low level. Most of the sites on bugmenot with passwords are for sites that really don't need user accounts, that's the point of it. Sites like Facebook are mostly blocked out of the system, and I'd imagine that if there's any site that could do more damage (real damage, such as financially) there would be a better security system in place than name and password.
Yeah, this happened to my friend once. (Sorry I couldn't be the counterexample slashdot kid with a girlfriend.) He broke up with his girlfriend, but she really wanted to see him, so he agreed to see her one day a week. Then he posted a comment to someone else's facebook about how he "only has to see her once a week but can still bum rides off of her". But she had his password and yelling ensued.I'd really not worry about hurting your own reputation with something that might obviously be fake, but having someone else read something hurtful to them or their friends could be a serious issue.
The only issue is that "legally" he could be listening to his phone calls, of course he probably won't. The Patriot Act has taken away enough of our freedoms to warrant being angry or at the least wary of our government. It's probably unreasonable to not come over here for a semester, things aren't that bad, especially when your money is safe in another country.
Kubuntu is a poor KDE desktop compared to most of the other majors. Ubuntu is solid, but Kubuntu isn't quite up to par. OpenSUSE is certainly far superior.
I'm an average incompetent checker, you insensitive clod! I don't believe you're actually more efficient than most checkers, and at the very least don't know the PLU numbers for fruits and veggies. If you actually timed yourself going through the computer checkout as opposed to the human checkout you might be surprised. I've actually timed it, purchasing the same thing every day on my break. Time is very important when you only have 15 minutes, and human checkouts are always much faster, even with a 2 or three person line (depending on the sizes of their orders of course).
4023 on the red seedless grapes, 4282 on the grapefruit, 4088 for the red peppers, 4064 for the avocados, 4066 for green beans, 4062 for cucumbers, 3121 for orange peppers, 4072 for russet potatoes, 4080 for asparagus, 4017 for granny smith apples, 4020 for golden delicious, 4044 for "orchard perfect" peaches, 4378 for "orchard perfect" nectarines, 4440 for plums, 4159 for vidalia onions, 4082 for red onions, 94068 for organic scallions, actually throw a 9 in front of anything for its organic variants, yeah...work sucks.
I'm working on breaking into the server room though, to program one of the buttons to start up nethack or something on my down time.
It might be depressing to listen to a bunch of 12 year olds playing Peaches en Regalia. Mainly because I can't and wouldn't spend all the money required for rock band/game system. But I really just wanted to say that Peaches en Regalia is a fantastic song.

Or a Vaporizer!
I think it's slightly depressing when opinions on drug use are political views.
Heh, yeah. See below.
It's been less than a minute and I've just realized you were referring to steam. It's late, my apologies.

Ours run OS/2 where I work (Stop and Shop)

The button with the box would be the maximize button. Yes, we explained it clearly.

Says 44 on there.
Nobody knows how much the dollar is actually worth, so to Europeans 70 us dollars vs 140 isn't that big of a difference.

I'll give you a small woosh here. Ironic was on old Alanis Morissette song that epitomizes the misuse of the word ironic.
The ones that do use https could set up a domain name like www.phish.com/paypal and get their certificate signed by a thirdparty.
Damn you Trey Anastasio! First you guys break up, and now you guys are stealing my mom's credit card info! Bastards.
