They're all in a Norwegian park, located in Oslo, named Vigelandsparken after Gustav Vigeland, who made all of them. All statues are naked. Yeah, we're alright with nudity in Norway.
What I do? I get on with my life, having saved all important stuff locally (copy, paste if I need to), and having printed what I really, really need.
If my iLife was so important, I'd use a grounded method of communicating to begin with.
Life deals shit and mishaps on a daily basis, and if what you're doing is so important, invest some time and intelligence into how you save that work. "The cloud" is just somewhere to put the blame when the fault lies between computer and screen.
One could argue that police officers choosing to issue lesser penalties based on their perception of the offender is a bad idea. I'd prefer my police state being equally horrendous to everyone.
Uh... No.
Children can at a very early age see that there is something wrong with their parents' job as parents. The children will still need follow-up, even if they're smart.
On my Nokia N82 mobile phone VoIP has its place in the connection settings by default. I'm sure there is loads about it in the manual, which I haven't read yet.
I recently got this one for my back pains. It is currently the only chair I can sit in. It can be changed from comfortable seating to an actual work out. Great. My GP's getting the same, by the way.
In the about us section, do they include the fact that they use artist's web pages and youtube to stream music? Obviously some of those would be hard to sell. (I searched for Motorpsycho, which featured songs exclusively from youtube and the band's web page. The versions are mostly live versions, and a lot of stuff not even available for download)
Aren't Ubuntu users more likely to betatest Ubuntu, SUSE users SUSE, etc? That's the way I'm doing it. That way you get the total amount of testers up, the only difference is you get them within the same time frame.
But I expect the 89 Camaro and the 03 Explorer to run on the same roads. Your logic is flawed anyway, because people didn't write a document in an ancient MS Word version and expect it to only be read in the exact same app.
I have bought, and probably will buy more MS products in the future. I'm just choosing to use GNU/Linux as my system for now. In an ideal world, that would be totally fine (and it should also be just peachy when people chose to use MS Windows, OSX, various UNIXes, etc). Meanwhile, back here in real life, MS continues to run an operation which thrives on a monopoly, and are actively maintaining that monopoly. I'm hoping that changes. (But I don't think MS themselves will bring that to reality.)
Look at all the open source projects that choose to introduce a Windows port. I assume that they have that same general idea as I.
It was a joke. Some understood that, some didn't. Anyway:
1. There is still the issue of documents Linux users receive.
2. I feel that MS should let people be able to view old formats. If they do that by dumping the documentation into the public domain or by making cross platform is less of an issue. (But I know what would be easiest, and that's how I would handle this)
There is some difference between music execs and the other cases you list. Most people will not steal a car or a computer, because (well, amongst other things), they would actually have taken *someone else's* car or computer. People disagreeing with music execs' salaries will usually not lift CDs either. With ones and zeros you're not directly taking some material object from anyone. And a lot of people would agree that other execs are getting paid for stuff they don't actually *do*, but they will look for other ways to express that sentiment to *those execs*.
Second point: Ron Paul being a creationist is completely irrelevant to his ability to be a good president. Religious views have no bearing on one's ability to run the country.
Ron Paul was one of the people raising their hand to agree that they did not believe in evolution. Some would argue that not believing in evolution is a sign that one might be less likely to trust science over dogma in other cases. That should maybe be at least a little worrying?
If you have some evidence that IE more secure or functioning better than Firefox, then I'd like to see some documentation on that. Personally, I use Firefox, Konqueror, Epiphany, Lynx, etc, and would call myself a browser-agnostic. Hell, for kicks I even fire up IE in Wine every once in a while. I'd use Opera too if they had a 64 bit version. The parent was clearly either a troll or someone who knows shit about browsers. (Or someone who has access to documentation that noone else have seen.)

As cool as my off-the-rack Nokia that also has Python. I had high hopes for OpenMoko, but it seems that it will remain a developer toy.

Extra net traffic?
Can you please give some calculations on this? Be sure to compare with when Redmond issues a huge service pack for their latest tragedy.

Are you comparing GNU/Linux to Kia? Kia?!? KIA?!? If I see you on the road I'll be slamming into you with my Ubuntu Yugo, so watch out!
Just thought this might help you poke a hole in that bubble you live in.

Can you please direct me to Microsoft's Linux versions of those viewers, so I can try them out? Thanks!
I'll take a guess: "the losers who didn't back up the forums"?
Safari 3.04 in Wine stops at 50/100

Paranoiaville, here we come!
2008 is the year of the Google desktop!

Why, oh why is there no way to mod "-1, Insane, troll"?
