'The technology behind PSP is still top-end and so that doesn't need to be addressed'.
...but the interface and OS is god-awful: One lousey control stick and D-pad that are so poorly disigned that it makes gameplay frustrating and causes cramping after relatively short periods of use and the OS' menu layout is obnoxious and requires tedious clicking up and down long menus... not to mention every new firmware update (usually required by most new games) kills all homebrew apps.
To be honest, not much changed even with OoT. It was the same "mirror moving, fire-arrow switch activating" puzzles even in the earlier 2D Zeldas. OoT translated the gameplay so well into 3D that the series continued to be extremely popular.
There shouldn't be any reason to change the style of game Zalda has always been, in fact Zelda-type games have, in a way, become a kind of genre all of it's own. As long as people keep enjoying the gameplay and Nintendo keeps the character's, stories and enviroments fresh it will sell.
I love my IPOD too, Apple has made a lot of good hardware over the years. I guess what I look forward to most is the far-fetched idea that apple will wise up and remove DRM from their files. You are right, a boy can dream.
It's true, and the reason Halo has become so widely popular is because it's x-box platform release and simple controls/interface has made it more easily accessable to a larger and more diverse audience than superior (or regarded by critics as such) PC FPS games.
It's a similar situation to the Final Fantasy franchise, more specifically FF 7. While everybody and their sister who grew up in the 90's will swear that FF 7 was the greatest RPG ever made, they probably never even heard of Baulders Gate, Fallout, or NETHACK.
I have nothing against Family Guy either, I enjoy it most of the time too. I just feel that because Family Guy has been successful with the slapstick/cultural parody humor, the Simpsons have deviated from their original style to be more like Family Guy, and it just doesn't seem to work in the Simpson's established universe.
By "high-end" I (as well as most other people) are typically referring to people who can play other current-gen games at decent settings without problems. You are correct in assuming that my PC probably wouldn't be considered cutting edge, however I can run HL2 and Quake 4 at semi-decent settings and still enjoy the games, while CoX games chug along at the lowest possible settings and make my PC beg for mercy. It's not a matter of someone making blanket statement about you favortie game, it's comparing preformance vs. graphics effects with other games.
Besides the Second life client, CoH has pretty much the most bloated of all the MMO clients. It even runs slow on most of my buddies high end machines. I wonder how useful the released dev software will be, when there are planty of open source options already available (blender)?
For $9.99 a month, you can subscribe to Elite, which will give you access to ongoing content (more on this in a bit), about twelve or more characters, a larger stash that can be shared between characters, a level cap that increases as content is released, access to a special train that takes you to Elite areas, and the ability to form guilds and choose different gameplay modes (PvP, Hardcore mode, and so on). "Ongoing content" is made up of stuff like new locations, quests, enemies, item drops, player housing, and even character classes. Flagship is estimating that about 40% of the development team will be focused on just creating new content for Elite subscribers.
It looks like there is a lot more than just "as-we-go" content for the 9.99 price tag.

- Meaning eventually it will stop playing music videos and constanly run reality shows and shows flaunting what Eminem and P.Diddy's cribs look like.
Over the years, the Simpson's show has stooped more and more to parodying pop culture, instead of the creative and introspective satirization of the typical American family that the show originally contained. This is the problem with other modern comedy cartoon's such as Family Guy.
So I guess it only seems fitting that the game would be just more parodies of other games instead of an original story that fans would appreciate.

Most Warhammer fantasy players sell their armies and buy cocaine, as it is a cheaper habit to support.
I can see it now: You wish to create a second player alt? That'll be $40, thank you.
Blue Table of Death.
Just leave gerneral chat when riding through the barrens, problem fixed.

You will not be missed.
