  1. Cool on Bionic Skin: the Killer App For Flexible Electronics · · Score: 1

You know..eventually, we will figure out how to make a human being, entirely through mechanical means, without the use of procreation. :)

  2. mmmm.. there is a problem here.. on Aging Is a Disease; Treat It Like One · · Score: 1

One one side, we want to treat aging as a disease and prolong human life, so, YEA for team "already a member of the human race".
On the other side, we still have no real global policy on control our very own human population.
We can't keep having 'more' people and having people who live longer.
    Something has to give.
On the bright side, if we could double our life expectancy, we can add many more years of usefulness to the human race and that's a plus, the years of experience accumulated and the wisdom to pass along to others, certain a plus too. If our human bodies don't wear and tear as far, then it gives us more time to enjoy life, all o this is good.
But, we should also understand the nature of 'finite' resources.
So it would be nice to see some balance on a global scale.

I remember a movie with Keanu Reeves where he was transporting data using his brain "Johnny Mnemonic".. something about government/big pharma not wanting certain 'cure' information to be leaked and in the end, it was the underground hackers who risked their lives getting the info to all citizens. Seems to me like we are heading up that way... Ironic that certain movies from the 80s and 90s were able to predict scenarios such as theses.

that Samsung will take it's OS to a place where it will not be mistaken for Android. I like Samsung in that they don't always get it right the first time, but they do try hard. And I've had little gems of products such as the 32GB media player yp-p3 media player which was utterly brillant in every aspect. Superior playback, great support of various audio and video codecs and serious next level audio playback features truly designed for serious musicians.

I've been purchasing e-books in the forms of PDF mostly, and when possible I do purchase their printed version, if it doesn't get too expensive. I do prefer to read from a printed book, but I'm slowly adapting to the ebook.

I wish there was a tablet designed for PDF which provide an 8.5 x 11 or similar format experience, that would totally switch me over, as long as I can manage and save my files and load them myself. I would invest in such a device.

How well do you use what you know?
