Hey.. look.. it is sad... but.. what do you expect? some people want to see their kids go into adulthood, preferably without any bullet and/or knife wounds. Problem here is that WE as a society do NOT work together.

It's our fault. Every one of us. Why? Because we only care about ourselves, we judge and segregate.

Worse is, our government is doing very little about it in ways that actually make an impact.

The only way we can make all neighborhoods safe, is to promote work, wealth and equality for all Americans.

Rip out that racism at the root. Stop the imbalance. Let's be serious about our so call "life is sacred" attitude and let's really mean it.

The problem will never solve itself. It needs everybody's participation. North Americans are complacent. That's the truth. We don't care enough about others. Ultimately, when we are in trouble, then, nobody cares about us. This is what must stop.

I had to work with training material which had text and graphics, etc., nothing to major, but can be large docs and I had a hard time dealing with all kinds of issues.

As far as I'm concerned, while, certainly children are not all equal and some do tend to have more academic inclinations, it is also the parents duties to inspire their kids to better themselves and to apply themselves in anything they do. Including homework.

like anything else, the process of aging must also revolve around the imperfect cell replication process that we undergo over time.

Between pollutants, radiation, etc.. Our cells do NOT replicate perfectly, thus, at some point, the quality of our cells deteriorates, which must be a factor to consider when aging comes to mind.

As we age from newborn to child to teen to adult hood, perhaps whatever triggers our growth at some point, also proivdes our cells protection and when that goes away, then the cell replication becomes compromised, which means that perhaps there is a mechanism within ourselves as we age into adult hood which protects our cells, once we've gotten to our final stage, we lose this protection and slowly our cells replication process becomes compromised with time and more vulnerable to external factors.

It could be that to really slow down the aging process, we need to better filter what we consume and we need to increase our skin's ability to better shield ourselves from radiation, etc..

Actually, what I'm really weary about is that it's great to have new technologies which can replace human labor, but there should also be something to offset where the human labor gets a chance to learn new skills to get other types of employment.

After all, a person who can't get a fair chance at work, well, that's simply wrong, as it remove this person some dignity.

Society needs to balance all of this, so that everybody has a chance to contribute to something and get monetary rewards.

    It's simple economics.

This is where for once, our government should step in and balance things out, for the good of the people, who are also taxpayers. Promote the work, promote human labor and promote the moving of currency so that everybody has a chance to live.

Not denying anything. Just saying, when I drive, if I read a text, I'm responsible if something happens and it distracts me. That simple. I am responsible. That is 'personal accountability'. It shouldn't be 'an American thing', it should just be what's right.

  24. Seriously, let's call a spade a spade on How Human Psychology Holds Back Climate Change Action · · Score: 2

The reason for the inaction is more simple than anything else. Lack of accountability. Everybody tries to deny things, because they say someone else will profit/benefit and/or exploit from it. It has become a crutch now to the point where it leans towards the ridiculous. Now, here's the thing. Common sense. Let's go with that. Obviously maybe not all of our actions are related to climate change, but surely, being responsible for our pollutants, reducing our carbon footprint, cleaning up our waters, taking care of wildlife, I mean, c'mon.. does it have to be for a reason? can't we think of our Earth as an extension of our home and ourselves? But in the name of profit, people will skew issues, whether its right or wrong. People don't like change and right now, those with money would have to change their ways, which would cost them and well, that's not good for business. See the logic and think about it.

  25. Ok.. here's the problem on NJ Court: Sending a Text Message To a Driver Could Make You Liable For Crash · · Score: 1

The "texter" is sending a message. how can this person know if the recipient of said text is driving? It's like sending an e-mail. You are sending the e-mail or the text message but have NO expectations of instant feedback. This is bogus to try to put the blame on the sender..

Responsibility on reading any form of transmission should rest squarely on the shoulders of the person reading said transmission.

    Whatever happened to personal accountability?

And for example, let's say the recipient does inform the sender that they are driving.. Then what? even if the sender keeps on sending messages, all the recipient has to do is drive, and ignore the device. Surely when you are in a safe area, you can then look at the stupid messages.

Again, we can't be in control of others, but should always be in control of ourselves.

The premise for these laws are utterly ridiculous.

What a serious waste of tax payers monies.
