    Just so long as there are more than two or three competing telecoms, I don't see much of a problem here. Hopefully, they will compete for the business of third-party ISPs. And I do not mean compete for their customers.

    That's funny, I leave that to the discussion filter, usually. Until recently, that is. For some reason comments are being displayed as if my settings were at "-1: Uncut and Raw". Despite the fact that everywhere in the preferences a higher threshold is shown.

    Maybe force MS to charge the same amount for an OEM copy for all OEM's rather than charging more for the ones that want to install Firefox (a practice mentioned somewhere else in this discussion)?

    Well, I would really like to see computers come without an OS, but without a browser would be fi... Wait... How will they download new browser? Better add .exe's for IE, Firefox, and Opera on the desktop.

    But then you would have to help assist her in choosing another one. And set it up for her. And you know that there will be all sorts of little inconveniences that had been solved on her first system but have to be solved again over the next 6 months.

    5 MB. Mostly small files uploaded w/ the GmailSpace firefox extension. I like to keep my email under control.
