What do you mean? Firefox has had memory leaks since forever, there are no steps to reproduce the problem, just open up Firefox and leave it for a couple hours.
Am I the only one who has had enough of these benchmark tests? I don't care about your milliseconds! What I want is low RAM usage (how about concentrating on THIS Mozzila?) and more features/plugins.
That's why it's a service instead of a product, if you want to continue getting software then you have to pay up for the service of software development. This is the kind of thing that now needs to be taught in education.
But I have to wonder, how does that method generate any money? It doesn't really matter if I see the ad or not, I will still not buy the product, click the ad or ever talk about it. I block ads because they are irrelevant and annoying. Same as I don't watch ads on TV and focus on other things while those annoying, (muted) internet video ads play.
Why would you ask your users to intentionally worsen their viewing experience of your website, to put it bluntly they don't care about you, if the ads aren't gaining enough suckers and you think your content is an unrivalled, top quality jewel of the internet then make it subscription based.
If I can ever be bothered installing and fighting (it literally is) Linux again I would probably give this distro a shot. http://www.linuxmint.com/index.php
Maybe others can lend their experience with it since I can't.
In the right corner we have Ubisoft, with their incredibly stupid idea that deserves nothing less than a Dilbert strip to glorify it permanently.
And in the left corner we have a large herd of sheep called game customers, who in recent trend have even been defending DRM schemes or believe it to be some type of chocolate bar.
Will Ubisoft succeed in shoving this latest endeavour with enough lube or will the bleating consumer do a back kick? Stay tuned as we find out just how high of a cliff a company can jump off safely.
Blender's GUI is great, it has a learning curve because it's a complicated program, like most 3D applications and takes a while to get used to. But there is absolutely nothing terribly wrong with its GUI, in fact it is faster and more efficient than the Max or XSI's.
Why? Because artists made it, and they know how they want to use their own program for their own work more than you do.
Blender is getting customisation support only to make it more accessible to people that are too stupid or too lazy or don't have enough time to go from their favourite application to Blender, it's also a bit of a side effect of the updated core which is now a lot more organised.
Like it says in the title, it all seems to be heading that way.
$20 for a hat isn't micro. That's all I have to say.
I use(d) both GOG and Steam, they're both great.
I'm honestly surprised you're even asking this, I thought Firefox's leaking problem has been common knowledge for years now. =S
What do you mean? Firefox has had memory leaks since forever, there are no steps to reproduce the problem, just open up Firefox and leave it for a couple hours.
What is your exact complaint about Firefox's memory use? Are you still experiencing the huge memory leakage and growth from the 2.0 series?
This.
I meant that Firefox still has RAM leaks.
Am I the only one who has had enough of these benchmark tests? I don't care about your milliseconds! What I want is low RAM usage (how about concentrating on THIS Mozzila?) and more features/plugins.
PC gaming was never dying/dead in the first place, these are all non-stories.
Because it never went anywhere.
What about OSS? When people like a certain open-source application, they donate money to keep it alive.
That's why it's a service instead of a product, if you want to continue getting software then you have to pay up for the service of software development. This is the kind of thing that now needs to be taught in education.
Because people have "wants" too.
"And the people who design cars wouldn't have money to keep designing cars."
Actually no.
People would pay for the ongoing service of car designing.
*Looks closer* Oh yeah! Some of the pixels.... no wait that's just a bit of dust.
Company releases an inferior product, much later to the game than competition, makes excuses for failure, water still wet.
It's time for a LAN party.
Don't forget download size, some of us have download quotas.
I stand corrected.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't internet ads generate their revenue through the amount of clicks they incur? I know Google's ads do this.
By using adblock, what I'm saying is: I'm never going to be clicking on any of the ads on your website.
If I didn't use it, I still wouldn't be clicking on any ads on your website and they will also annoy me.
It's most likely that the people using ad blocking don't care about the ads you display and won't be clicking on them anyway.

Lack of wit, that is.

Bing even has a BETA mark, there's no stopping M$ now!
I'm now copyrighting NEXUS TWO, NEXUS THREE and NEXUS FOUR by using these in my post.
When Google brings out next generations of its phone, I'll sue them and become rich!
You gotta think ahead.

Label this under obligatory Blender defending.
