Hemp seed is actually really healthy and contains good amounts of all essential amino acids (and so is high in protein). It provides some iron, good amounts of manganese and magnesium, and is also a good source of omega-3 and -6 fatty acids. Hemp seeds are good for salad toppings, baking, etc (think multi-grain bread). Hemp oil is also highly nutritious and can be used as other vegetable oils are.
It's a shame that prohibition drives the seed prices through the roof.
That's a naive opinion. Alcohol != a guillotine. Just look at England, France, Germany, etc. Their drinking laws are extremely relaxed compared to ours, yet they don't have a large problem with youth alcohol abuse because without prohibition and the moral stigma attached with breaking the law, it's no longer cool to get wasted.

Yes, it'll be nice to have new, alternative uses for my TV. No, I don't particularly care if it's on my TV or over more conventional appliances used for internet connectivity (tower, laptop, etc). The real revolution will be when all my media appliances work together seamlessly, all accessing my in-home centralized media server or some such.
