The only thing I used eBay for was buying refurbished laptops. There are other places to get them. I really lost interest when it became loaded with Chinese vendors. The only real value was in person-to-person sales and that was a lot of fun. Now it is stale and boring on top of the the scams...I bet the place is mostly scams now.
Dude...I'm about to take out a loan and jet there myself...what do you mean: "don't want to waste time." It is over 1400 ft deep. Not a trivial recovery. Lots of professionals and equipment required and people could still die.
According to standard media protocol in regard to politicians they would never run such a story. The consensus is to avoid personal stories about politicians. For example, if they discovered that a politician had a drug/alcohol problem they would not report on it...especially if they were in a treatment program. I was surprised to learn about this long ago.

The aliens agreed not to return until all people were of one race. It is disgusting...I drank it for some time. Soy consumption was shown to cause brain atrophy in long term studies. That isn't going to stop it though. We have to plant soy in order to plant corn and soy is the darling of large food corporations. They hydrogenate it and use that to thicken stuff up (Jiff Peanut butter is an example) and to fry things. Hydrogenated soy is horrible for your your health since it oxidizes, sending free radicals throughout the body-- especially when you heat as restaurants do. On top of heating it, most restaurants continue to use the oil after it breaks down and starts smoking--to save money. Soy is cheap but 5 gallons of fryer oil is about $60+, so it adds up and makes quite an impact on the bottom line of a low margin business like food service. Five gallons fills one typical fryer and is really only suitable for a day or two depending on the volume and types of food cooked in it.
The same soy oil that is used for making fried food is also used in agriculture to fatten animals very quickly. It is mixed with grain. You can buy it in 50 gallon drums at feed stores. When you see an otherwise not-fat person with a weird belly pouch you can bet with certainty they live on fast food and other cheap hydrogenated soy products (poor people). I could go on and on. Fuck soy.

I dropped it down to -11 and really just tried to prevent Alexa from hearing me at all. No dice. She responded each time.
Alexa is now in my "computer junk bin."
I do realize that the problem of my cell phone remains along with all the other cell phones in the house which I have to assume are capable of the same creepy shit. I have nothing to hide as I'm quite open about my use of ganja and I'm otherwise a "law abiding citizen" but this is just unacceptable. I talk a lot of politics and current world affaris with my son--a lot. Those are things you don't want fed to the beast.
I recently saw an article on various things that people "say to Alexa." So your whispers and other convo are all being recorded and reported on. Fact.
Remember when there was all that hubbub about the problem of social security numbers and congress was looking into solving the problem. Guess the banks crushed that shit.
