The shit batteries are curated on Amazon. The reviews filter out the crap. I have been buying really well made batteries from China....no problems. In years past you usually got screwed but not the case as much any more.
Yeah....and you can buy a $9 battery off Amazon and install it for free. That new $9 battery will also get you an additional 500mAh so your charge lasts longer than it did new.
....and then act like they are fixing this by doing people a favor. An upgraded battery for a Samsung is $9 on Amazon and you dont have to part with your phone for any amount of time to install it.
Most people are too stupid to realize they hate it. Only after someone they trust and respect suggests that they remove it from their phone do they consider the possibility of doing so and after removing do they experience the freedom of not being mindfucked more than usual. Already happening...and not just teenagers. People got bored with it a long time ago and then Facebook started hardcore manipulation/addiction vectors of human nature. It is negatively affecting the people feeding the platform, making them depressed and creating a loop where they seek the source of their depression to cure the symptoms. I quit, uninstalled the app and feel great. Been to the desktop site maybe twice since I "quit." Never could get my teenager to use facebook. He prefers Reddit and talking with people on discord.
Google tried to fight the major powers and got slapped back (Free cell phone, free internet). When that happens people remember the old saying: "If you can't beat them, join them."

...and best of all...no commercials. The shows on cable are usually shite... but the commercials are an absolute shock to anyone who isnt used to them.
Take a look at Xamarin Forms. It abstracts away a lot of those problems to someone else and lets you focus on developing an app....and your app works on other platfroms without much fuss.

This Christmas is going to be a frenzy of cord cutting. These 4k smart TVs are crazy cheap and very good quality.
