I am sure you are correct but controlling an extra arm may not be as intuitive as the extra fingers. It looks to me as if the programming kinda makes the fingers work with your natural movements to give you a little more capability.

Boot the machine. Activate it. Spend 4 hours updating and rebooting while uninstalling the shitloads of crapware and Norton that come pre installed just so I can finally install the stuff I need from 8 different sites.

Linux actually goes from zero to a workable system really quickly.
Android is not Linux. It is forked off of Linux then has all kinds of phone only no security crap loaded. Still you could get really pedantic and state it is Linux anyways.
