Why do you need to marry Google to get good use out of an Android phone? It quickly sets up not only Gmail but Corporate Emails, Yahoo, Hotmail and pretty much just about anything. You can make one account to use the Google marketplace (Play) or you can forgo that and use Amazons market. If you choose you can have it linked to a Hotmail account and get apps from Amazon. No Google needed. How exactly is that any worse than any other smartphone platform? Better than some.
Cars get faster, safer, cheaper. Computers as well. Even if the game stays the same on better hardware it should run better and do more with less effort.

What power would the RIAA have if they own a politician and if that politician goes against his oath and fucks over the populace he is voted out of office and his law repealed immediately? None. The problem is that we give these politicians powers they should not (according to the constitution) have. You are not seeing clearly where to place the blame. As long as the responsibility lies elsewhere so does the power to fix it.

Which means that we democratically elect politicians to act and make laws withing the confines of power delegated to them by a constitution. Capitalism was not the problem. The problem is that we continue to elect people who only make laws that empower themselves. A business can attempt to buy a politician to represent them. That is fine. Businesses and Unions do it all the time. The problem comes when the politicians make laws that create a new power that they then use against the people for the benefit of those paying for their re-elections. The bigger problem is that all the people voting in the election know that they are being fucked. They just do not care. So public laziness and apathy is what is wrecking the country. The problem is that puts all the blame on us. So instead of fixing the problem we create outside enemies to blame it on. That way we can do nothing about it and it is no longer our fault. Sleep well.
Two thirds of the earth is covered by water. Zero effect on that part. The albedo of snow and ice has been changed by man a negligible amount. Most of the rest of the planet is untouched. A small part is cities. These change albedo quite a bit in a small area. Very small. Deforestation and farmland have decent sizes but the albedo change is small.
So for 85% of the earth no change in albedo. For 14% minor change. For less than 1% real change. Overall change caused by man........ Negligible at best.

What is the guaranteed life span of exchange? What I have is secure. Usable. Easy for the users and fully exportable to a competitor. It is cost effective, powerful and scalable. I have full control of who can share what type of date with whom. I enforce strong passwords and two factor authentication. I am more sure that Google employees are not snooping through my corporate emails than I am that some pissed off employee will cost us. I think you just really hate Google and can see no reason for anyone(in your world view) to use them. They are a tool. For the size and type of data and users I administer they are a great fit. I am sure though that with your incredible skills that with no information on my company you can decide much better for us than we can.
Their job is theater. The TSA has never once prevented an attack. Not once. What they were created for can never again happen in our skies. They are an agency created from a knee jerk reaction by scared cows, that is now looking to ever expand its power like all other governmental agencies.
