    The first russian paratroopers volunteered to jump out of airplanes...they didn't even know that parachutes existed. I imagine they were pleasantly surprised.

    The real trip is, with the rarefied atmosphere there was no sound. When he jumped, he wasn't even sure he was falling to the earth or just floating around. Only when he managed to see the balloon getting smaller and smaller "above" him did he feel better.

    I'm sure the teacher's unions will bring some bullshit like this up.

    At every opportunity, the educators I work with chose to plug kids into technology and set them on auto-teach. Sewing the seeds of their own destruction...but when tech starts to replace teachers, we'll hear them scream bloody murder with your argument.

    We used to take shotgun shells, take out the shot, tape a large marble or ball bearing to the primer... maybe add some fins near the back or some corn starch where the shot used to be.     there's competition in the porn world... they want to make money.

    vodafone, like most carriers, will be making money no matter what.... thanks to monopolies, duopolies, market segmentation and such.
    this creates a lazy attitude towards security, among other things.

    Flash only kills battery life because of intense decompression and decoding -> high cpu usage. If flash is just a a container for h.264, and you use h.264 with your video tag, then what's the difference?
