Just a note that I'm aware that Thunderbird and Outlook already implement PGP but it isn't user friendly enough. Needs a "Use secure email" wizard and a "Send this user my public key" wizard with appropriate handling the other end.
It needs to be built into the software and reasonable transparent to the user. There also needs to be a standard for generating, sharing (between applications) and sending public keys. This means buy-in from at least Outlook, Thunderbird, Firefox, IE and probably a couple of others at least. Good luck getting Microsoft to implement that properly.
The 2007 GUI sucks. I find myself Googling to find out how to do stuff I used to know by heart on the old GUI. Stuff has been moved around and is often not in the logical place (or even not on the stupid ribbon thing at all).
Check out Intersoft (http://intersoft-us.com). They resupply the tags and sell several readers, including ones that plug straight into the serial port of whatever device you'd like. I used to work for them. The owner is a nice guy and will be happy to discuss applications and options.
People are thinking of the wrong applications when they're dismissing these coins. Forget airports or building security where you're just one of many and are likely to only be subject to cursory inspection, think more in terms of something like where you have taken pictures at a protest and, if spotted, you are likely to be individually searched (including turning out your pockets) and have your devices erased.
Having a micro SD card not look like a micro SD card could be key in such a situation.
Even if guns aren't in the household, kids need to be educated about them. A fair chunk of the incidents that occur are when kids visit friends houses which do have guns and don't know how to properly behave if they come across them.
Which you'll throw in a big box with many other items where it will then fall out of its minimal plastic packaging and rattle around, getting bent pins which the receiver will have to carefully bend back.
Newegg, I love ya but you need to work on your packaging process.
When I watch TV, I watch TV and I hate when someone talks over plot points or action or the humor. I think DVRs have saved me from a murder charge or two.
Alternatively, IOData have something to gain by bolstering a weak patent and generally unsubstantiated claim from Microsoft and "agreeing" to license them. Microsoft might even be giving them other incentives to do so. Just like how a smart panhandler always throws a few coins in their cup at the beginning of the day, "Pour encourager les autres"
Flamebait? That's probably fair. But the truth is, this stuff is all extremely well documented and not at all hard to find for anyone who's genuinely interested.
In every car I've bought with ABS, I've made sure that the ABS works on a straight empty road before it's actually been needed.
My car doesn't have a throttle. How can it have a throttle cable?

Salesmen should only be judged on results, not the equipment they're using.

What's this "free world" you speak of?

Who claimed Jif is healthy?
If you want healthy, start looking at something that has the nuts as the primary ingredient
Uh....
PIP, baby!
And low calorie.
It is to Bill Gates. And that makes it a battle for everyone.

Anything to keep the FUD flowing.
Nothing wrong with a fair exchange which increases value for all parties concerned.

Exactly that. Though not just that it wasn't physically possible at all, just not feasible.
I do hate it when they let the famous and influential off with a warning for egregious rule breaking.

You're welcome.
Probably for the same reason Leonardo wasn't swanning around in a helicopter.
