Full featured, robust, everything looks _exactly_ like what you tell it to, there are no plugs for their software, and it's fast. Able user required, idiots need not apply.
The kernel should be called Linux. That's what it is. My system runs Debian GNU / Linux because that's what _it_ is. The Linux kernel with like 99% GNU software. A better term for the OS would just be GNU because most of the software is just that. Calling the OS Linux is kind of like calling windows kernel32. As for the X Windows part of Lignux, what the hell? You can easily run a system without X. Most of the time I don't use it. You'd be hard pressed not to use at least a few GNU things.
I'm probably going to take some heat for this, but have there been 6 _major_ changes since it's release? The switch from lubc5 -> glibc2 is one, and maybe the kerel jump, but 6? Makes me wonder if Suse and RH aren't just trying to sound more advanced.
Anyway I used Suse once. I couldn't stand YaST. You have to use it to do pretty much everything and I really don't like the interface. To each his own, I suppose.
Forgive me if I don't trust them. Yes, it could be that they will comply completely and they'll get the drivers to work great and all. That would be lovely. When I see a company supporting free software, I get a bit curious. When everything is final and works well, and they release the source and it's in the kernel, _then_ I'll say good job CL. Until then, I just don't know.
Like WP8. You can't use the copy / paste features because they think Linux doesn't have one, even though X does and the Linux part isn't really important. Not to mention they didn't even bother to get a current version of Linux to develop on. Then Grand Master Linus says, Good Job Corel. That's what they wanted. For us to think they give a rats ass. Same with CL. They'll release them and make a whole lot of Linux users happy and they'll have our support.
Every little bit counts. That one scan might be the one to get ya. Not to mention it runs Windows. I can just imagine the thing BSODing and frying some poor traveler. I'm sure this would really be bad for pregnant women, too. Not to mention the privacy implications. I suppose if it stops people from carrying bombs on to planes, it's worth it though.

Enlightenment is prettier. And there aren't any pesky QPL things to worry about. I don't think it sucks or anything, but if I want cool I'll use Enlightenment. If I wan't functional, I'll use fvwm.
You might have to skip LinuxExpo? Man, I wish I got to go to cool things like that. At any rate, who cares if you see the movie opening night? Big freaking deal. You know what happens a week before I do. Is that worth camping out for a month (yes lines are there)? Hell, no
"We hate you" and the file path down at the bottom make it seem like it's fake. Not to mention that this is a (not too funny) humor site. The comics being so stupid are enough to take it down, but since they are still up there and given the letter, I just don't believe it.

I got it when I was 4. I loved it. I remember playing Boulder Dash (the first one). Those stupid flashing square monsters scared me more than all of the fps games combined (well, I was only four afterall). Now I have my 366 with 64MB of ram and 15GB of drive space. I remember being happy when I got my super-fast 8086.
There should be buttons available to sites that can handle it. "This site is Slashdot proof". Hmm... I wonder if my schools server is slashdot proof. Click on my homepage url. I'll see if the bitch to me.
Anyway, related to the cases, having a rack would be cooler. It looks much more threatening.
I've never dealt with him personally, but given what he wrote to Bruce and what some other people have said he wrote to them, it sounds like this guy has some serious issues he needs to work out. If he can't conduct himself in a reasonable manner, he needs to go away.
College has taught me that it sucks. I thought CS would be fun. Not at all. My biggest problem with class is that I can't learn like that. I can teach myself C or Pascal or Russian, but I can't listen to an hour lecture on recursion, especially with no computer to mess around on.
College has so far taught me one thing. It's useless. I thought a CS degree would be fun. Hardly. Wish I could start a computer repair store. OK money and fun to do. My problem with class is that I don't learn that way. I can teach myself ok, but I can't listen to a lecture on recursion.
Unix is a propriatary OS made to compete with Windows? Wasn't Unix around before Gates? Debian doesn't "sell" it's distribution. You pay for shipping and the cost of the cd. You can donate, but you don't have to (can't image why you wouldn't). Open source isn't a radical idea. Isn't that how it was before Billy started whinning about it? Grab your bats, we're agoin bashin.
Linux- Xemacs

I dunno what's wrong with 6x100, but you know intel. Forcing a lot of people to upgrade motherboards (mine supports 133, many don't).

Connection from east to west (US) or vice versa is slower because there is a bottle neck of sorts. I believe I read this somewhere on their page.

when these things are $.05 a piece, we'll _still_ have these damned awful floppies.
I mean, if the voices tell him to do something, who are we to argue? These are _the_ voices afterall.
English, Spanish, French, you can speak any language and it's free. Why not C? Maybe not C++...
We're talking about power supplies. That config waas too much for my little 235W.
Remember, I only had $600 to play with, not the full $1299.
